I wanted her faceup to be a combination of the company's faceup and the makeup done for John Galliano's fall 2007 collection. I think it turned out great!
The star on her forehead represents Estelle, her lover, whose name means star, and the tiny moon next to it represents Estelle's sister Lunette, whose name means little moon.

Name story:

She was originally named Genevieve. My two original character dolls I got before her have French names, and I really love the French pronunciation of Genevieve. But it just didn't seem to fit her, so now she's Talia.
