Lati doesn't post prices for shipping and the total varies by order. Shipping is automatically added to your order when you submit it to Lati. If you would like an estimate of shipping before you order, you can post a question to Lati's Q&A board at any time, telling them what doll or dolls you are considering and where you live, and they will respond with a shipping quote. Wigs Staining: Many wigs, including Lati wigs, have a tendency to stain the head (even the light colored ones.) You can use a silicon wig cap or plastic wrap to try and protect the resin. Or line the inside of the wig with masking tape. You can try a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser (with variable results) to remove stains. No, you do not need to restring the doll. Remove the headcap. Turn the metal ring so that it lines up/goes through the hole (you may need to push gently) and the head releases. What scale are Yellows? Dollhouse (1/12) scale is a bit small. Kelly/Shelley doll (little sister to Barbie) seems to work well as does a lot of the Re-ment and other 1/6 or “playscale” items. Homes- A DoA thread about homes for tinies. Do the boys have “bits”? The Renewal size do not but the SP size does. Should I get the magnetic hands/feet? The magnet hands make it easier to dress the dolls, especially for sweaters or tight pants. But, the magnets can be weak and therefore the hands/feet can be knocked off (or come off with the shoe) which is a concern if you take the doll out for photoshoots. What is TOF?- A term originally coined by DoA Member Winternight, TOF stands for "Twitchy Order Finger", a condition of nearly uncontrollable Lati ordering fever accompanied by lack of control over ones digits. You must have a typo here. The 47mm shoes from Judy are wayyy too big for the Yellow Sp kids, I have tons of shoes for my Yellow Sp kids from Judy in the 37mm size that are a great fit.

Can't forget what I don't know, thanks for the heads-up on the Yahoo Group. Added. On the Rosen Lied wigs: I haven't tried them personally, so this is just information I was given. The Rosen Lied site gives a head circumference measurement of 5-6" for their Monday's Child dolls, which is in line with Lati Yellow heads. Do you know if there are references to Monday's Child wigs not fitting or fitting only some Latis?
I really hope this is the right place for me to post this... I imagine there may be others who are wondering the same thing. When ordering shoes from Audrey's Doll Gallery for the renewal sized body, should I be ordering 25mm/14mm or 25mm/12mm? How about the ones just labeled 25mm? Will 24mm/10mm be far too small? You are an invaluable resource! I am wondering, now that I have received my second Lati Yellow, where to get a doll house that really fits their size. Everything seems too small in one way or another! Of course, Beds are my first concern and that shouldn't be too hard but I don't want the girls swimming in a pair of bunk beds which are 12" long! Usually confirming the order happens the day after you've completed your payment. However, sometimes when Lati is very busy it can take a week (or more?) for them to get to it. If you're concerned, leave a message on their Q&A board and that will usually get your order confirmed right away. Occasionally, Lati will confirm orders in batches, meaning they'll wait--sometimes up to two weeks--before going over orders and payments and changing everyone's status to "Preparing Items". I'm also adding here, on another topic: Due to some musing in the "Chatty" thread about how we're always trying to remember the particulars of Limited and Special releases, I'm going to start archiving them here for future reference. See post 4 for links to specific releases. Some of the information may be incomplete or incorrect. Please feel free to PM me with your assistance. Thank you!
