Haute Doll's "Bitten" Collection by Valerie Zeitler

Haute Doll’s August issue will be mailing in about 3 weeks and we are so pleased to offer another wonderful collaboration between Valerie Zeitler, Doll Heart and Peak’s Woods. Our very special Claudine Belmont, a Peak’s Woods Goldie in a limited edition of 40, has gotten a face-up and bite marks from Valerie’s design. Add to that 13 Victorian-inspired clothing sets, 2 coats, 3 hats, 13 pairs of shoes and boots, 12 wigs and 4 toys——all designed by Val—and you have a collection to die for! Kat Robertson did the exquisite photography, made her own sets and wrote a fictional story about Claudine Belmont as well as giving us a historical perspective on the appeal of vampires. Look for the collection to go live as soon as the issue is mailed. Stay tuned to www.hautedoll.com

um.... last time people that ordered fastest and then added items later that day or even the next day got all of the items ordered while others got none even though they ordered the items sooner. How will it be this time? (hope that makes sense) How many sets do you have for sale? as you know they always sell out and that leaves many disappointed after subscribing for another year so they could buy the clothing.

Have the shoes and boots already been made? it would be nice if they were made a little wider. Last time none of the shoes fit my doll as they are made slimmer than the average.

The doll, clothing, shoes and wigs are all limited editions of 40. The toys are limited editions of 60. There are two price points for each item; subscribers pay less, but you do not have to be a subscriber to order. Orders will be filled as they are placed according to time stamp on order form. We will fill each order as received. The Goldie is the small bust or normal bust. This collection is made for the Peak's Woods girls and will be too small on other dolls. We love the Peak's Woods dolls and these will fit our Halloween twins from last year and our Marie Antoinette from the year before.

HI Karen, Just need a bit of clarification - sorry I want to be sure I understand this time.
Does a subscriber have to buy 2 years of the magazine to qualify for the discount, or just 1?
I was denied the discount last year even though I was on my 3rd year of subscription, because I only added 1 more year to my previous 2 year membership.

Thanks!!

With your 2-year subscription (12 issues, bi-monthly to begin with the current issue) to HauteDoll Magazine, you are eligible for savings on all our HauteDoll merchandise!
This is what it says when you go to Haute doll's site and click on to become a member.
So anyone can buy but only people with the two year subscription get the member discount price. This is what the site says?
Karen is this correct or am I not reading this right?

For this collection, you will receive a discount if you are a subscriber (one or two years) on each item. You pay a higher price point on each item if you are NOT a subscriber. This is different than what we have done in the past where you had to be a subscriber to buy at all and only saved money if you were a cub member (two year subscriber).

Karen
I know that last year I waited online for an hour for the sales to open up and placed an order for boots and a scarf only moments after the sales went up on the site, yet only 'won' a scarf (the boots and scarf were all that would fit my dolls). I was told I didn't get the boots because people were placing orders via fax before the site orders opened. Is this going to be an issue this year too? Do faxed orders get priority? If so, shouldn't faxed orders received before the website sales open not be honored until website orders have been filled or at least only the ones received after the website opened get filled first? I hope that makes some sense. I am just honestly curious because I would hate to wait online again if I am not going to have a chance to buy anything. It was seriously disappointing.

Last year people wanted to combine orders. They placed one right away and then they waited to think about what else to add then they place more orders and ask you to combine which you did this is how they ended up with getting nearly all or all the ordered while others did not. Are you doing this same combining of shipping this year ??? I would also like to know this so I can expect it.

Does anyone know when the line will be open for sale to HD subscribers?

Is it possible to order her without the bite marks?

What will we use to confirm we're subscribers? All I have at present is an order number and, being in the UK, won't get the magazine till well after the ordering starts.

When you log into the site, it should recognize you as a subscriber and give you the discounted prices. That's how it worked last year.
