Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases.     1. Seeing as it's the last day of 2008, I figured it was safe to start this thread today -- I had a lot of fun reading last year's favorites thread, and was hoping to start something similar for 2008. :D

      Possible categories for favorites of 2008 (almost completely swiped from last year's list, with a couple more added for good measure ^^):

      ETA: To keep with the spirit of things, the dolls/items should probably at least have been announced in 2008, if it hasn't released or begun shipping yet (e.g., Soom Heliot). Or the other way around, if the doll/item in question was released late in 2007, but wasn't released/shipped until 2008 (e.g., Dolpa 18 LE dolls -- Renee, Alain, etc.).

Yes, it should be dolls and items that were released in 2008 -- to keep with the spirit of things the doll/item should probably at least have been announced in 2008, if it hasn't released or begun shipping yet (e.g., Soom Heliot). Or the other way around, if the doll/item in question was released late in 2007, but wasn't released/shipped until 2008 (e.g., Dolpa 18 LE dolls -- Renee, Alain, etc.).

      It isn't really a strict do-or-die rule, though -- the whole point is to have fun, and for those who discovered the BJD hobby in 2008, I suppose everything is new. ;)

    8. Like everyone else so far, I have to vote the Soom Zodiac series as the best of everything in 2008. My hope for 2009 is that we'll be seeing some neat things like this in an MSD or YoSD size, I prefer less mature dolls, but still love grey resin and fantasy types!
