They actually appear to have varying eye size - some look like 18mm and some look smaller. But I only found the one group of measurements in Chinese text form (not in picture) on another BBS:

They apparently remade their girl body because there were complaints that the body was too ugly-- so the body shown in the news thread is the new one. The pictures in the forum post are of the old body. I think they might be remaking the boy body, too? (That would be awesome, since the boy bodies are kind of... grody to me.) I haven't signed up to their official forum to read around yet. I really like Min.

Their posing looks GREAT. I really hope the new bodies retain the posing ability of the old ones.

I like the young-looking one who is modeling a lot of the outfits, but I don't see her offered as a doll - hopefully she's one of their heads. I think she would be a cute doll for my niece.

AE is preparing their new girl and boy body and it will be double jointed,so they stoped other works for it.maybe in the new year you will see it soon~
they will not open the international shop impermanently because they want improve their dolls first, they think it's the most important thing they should to do.please wait for a while~^__^

Maybe after finish the preparing of new bodies,AE will show other new dolls--a girl,a boy and babies,even an animal~XD
It's pity that nobody knows their appearance...
After them AE will have an official site I think there is an English version too~
(although they're AE's plan at present they may change by some undefinite states)

Like many start-ups in China, Asleep Eidolon sells their products on Taobao.com They might be concentrating their effort building their Chinese site first since it's less logistically challenging (payment, shipping, question and answer, etc...) than international sales. They did, however, adjusted their price upward by about 10% starting new year. This is happening across the board with many Chinese companies as inflation in Chinese hit hard in 2007. But even with the price hike, I think relatively speak, the quality of the dolls and the prices they are at makes them superior compared to most dolls out there.

Please note, I don't have any special connection to AE. I know and speak Chinese and I frequent Taobao. These are just my observations by from visiting various sellers on taobao.

This girl's name is "meijia" in Chinses, she is on sale in Taobao.com.
here is her picture:

The price of AE doll is 880 yuan(about $120),it include eyes(random color),a mask,a trestle,2 cushions.(wig and make up are not included.)
The price will rise for the new body.

I am going to answer this here rather then in the original News thread since it is a general 'chatty' question rather then a purchase question.

It's my understanding that the founders/owners of AEdoll went to art school together and majored in sculpting. Rather then hire sculptors like many BJD companies do they themselves are the sculptors. I would assume that the dolls have different looks because they are being sculpted by several different people and as artists they also want to try new things and create new looks.

Small bust is .5 less than Narae
Large Bust is .5 larger than Narae and .5 less than Unoa large bust
Waist is .7 less than Narae and .2 less than Unoa (based on my own measurement of Unoa's waist)
Hips are 1 less than Narae and Unoa

But yes - Unoa/Narae would be about the right size clothing though shoes may be big if the feet are really only 5cm (.5 smaller than Narae).
