1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Resinsoul / Bobobie Dogs Discussion Thread

Feb 17, 2009

    1. Thank you so much for the comparison pics and size reference stuff. Really appreciate it! :aheartbea

I'm glad they're a little slim, I think that makes it easier to sew for them. Fabrics get so bulky in smaller scales, so it's nice to have a bit of space to work with.

Your pictures have made the wait for my Boston Terrier doubly hard! But thank you for confirming for me that I definitely want one. :)

    2. I expected to dislike them muchly... but I love the beagle! I would love to see her (it just looks really feminine to me for some reason) in a Victorian style dress... or something.

    3. I like the 0036 and 0038. They are way long realistic but they can be good for the innocent and cute bjd boys and girls.

I imagine one along side my Alexander (yo-sd sweet dream piccolo) that will be real cute and innocent :):D

    4. I just ordered #38 in white with no face up so I can make it look like my Riley. They say it will take 6 - 8 weeks to get a blank one. It's going to be a long hard wait!!*_*:atremblin

    5. Any owner pics??

    6. T4124: thanks for posting pix <3
they look so much better then on the RS site!!!

    7. I wonder if I could mod one to look like a pug...

    8. They're so cute! I'd like to see Bobobie try a more human-like one though, like some of the other people here.

Still, they are on my wishlist. A bit of the way down there, perhaps, but there all the same.

    9. Oooooh my Beagle one came today - full body makeup and I adore him/her - havent decided yet! Great resin and posing ability! I will put up pics later. BTW Boboie customer support was awesome, I wrote asking about the status of my order as it had been a couple of months, and got a note back that mine was shipping and arriving in 3 days - and Wow, here is my little doggie!

I had no idea they were in partnership with Resin Soul, which now explains the RS on the back of the head! But I cant say enough about how amazing Boboie customer support is. Great little doglet! So happy this little one finally came!

    10. I am just gonna have to share, :) I just had a confirm go for the shipping of my bobobie pup today !! He is coming Denver dolls...
I have hummed about an anthro for such along time but he is sooo cute with his blue eyes and all. I bought the brown and white one with the boston terrier face and he is with full body make up etc!

does anyone have one of these and does he/she wear clothes? I can't imagine it so if anyone can show me what it looks like I will be really thrilled to see them.

I have started to really like the anthos and am seeing more of them around, He is nameless as yet but has some friends, one particular waithing for him to come home!
OMG I am so excited. I think it will be cakes all round in a weeks time!

    11. Did some sharing in the wrong place as usual..:doh

I have ordered #39 the tan boston terrier and he is going to be Amos when he comes from DDE. I am beyond excited and as they have him in stock he could be here in a week!:D

are any photos with clothes I don't think I want to clothe him but I wondered what they would lokk like?

    12. I got my beagle pup thinking it would be a girl, but somehow it seems like a boy to me now. I have the pup in a black shirt and blue denim shorts - looks adorable! I also crocheted a greenish blue dog bed tonight. The other night I made a red crochet dog bowl and off white bone - all this for my little doglet with no name yet!

Will try to post pics tommorrow. I thought these pups would be smaller somehow, but anyway have been having fun making things for the pupster!

    13. [IMG]Ok here is pups first pic. With the dog bed, food dish, little bone I crocheted, and his tiny puplet

    16. Ooosp - sorry wrong thread!

    17. Oh I love the dog bed! I can make clothes but not crochet, well only long chains!!

he looks so cute with his little friend and his bowl and the bone just totally squeeeeeee-able, you really are clever with your hands !

And they do look good in clothes don't they I will decide when he coes comes home.

    18. Thank you Demented Pea!

I had someone show me how to get beyond chains, and how to do the three basic stitches. single crochet, double and triple crochet, and half double crochet. Once someone shows you the first couple of ways to connect things, then the rest just falls into place. I completely made up the dog bed so I am glad that came out so well. The bowl and bone were adapted from an amigurumi pattern I got on Etsy for a doy play set. Its very easy to follow - trust me, I am really new at crochet, and trying to follow patterns!

I am soooo delighted you found it all "squeeeeeable"!!!!!

As to the clothes, these were clothes for the 8in Goodreau bjds, and I am truly finding it fun to see him all gussied up in clothes, it somehow seems to add to a sense of personality for my little puplet.

Thanks so much for your enthusiastic comments! Cant wait to see your pics when your pup arrives!
