Resinsoul Tiny dolls 14cm and 15cm discusion part 1

I've wanted one since I first saw her photo! However, she is exclusive to ResinSoul? Does this mean she will never be available on Bobobie's website? Bummer, I was saving my discount coupon from the last photo contest to use on one.

 

Perhaps I am terrible at using the search function despite my best efforts but is there any in depth discussion on Resinsoul's tinies? Im looking for something focused a bit on Yu. I fell in love with this guy(he looks like he could be a guy right?) which is amazing because I never thought Id want a doll period >> But Now Im hooked. I know very little about him though! Can someone point out information on simple things like his wig and eye size. Maybe some photos of him by people who already have him. Things like that? So sorry to post this if I shouldnt have . Im just a bit lost on this little one.

Though it is picture rich, I didn't see any information about eye or wig size but I'm certain someone will pop in and help you out. Or even if you just email Resinsoul you'll probably get some help It seems that Yu comes on a girl body primarily though again if you ask I'm certain they'd put that head on the boy body for you, as there is also a boy tiny called Dian I hope this helps!

 

I have Dian, the other REsinsoul tiny, and a Bobobie Elfkin. The Resinsoul tinies are just a little bit smaller. The head is also a bit smaller, but not much. Yu is androgenous -- it can be boy or girl. No gender parts. Dian has boy parts.

The Resinsoul and Bobobie tinies are much smaller than, say, Pukifees and the Dollzone tinies. They are almost (but not quite) as small as Tinybears Moona and Bracken. They wear a 4-5 wig. And may even be able to wear a 4 that stretches. I have one of the new Jpop wigs designed for the Fidelia tiny coming in hopefully to go on my Bobobie elfkin.

Oh, and 8mm eyes.

 

I have a Yu she was my first dollfie (and your right she /he can go ether way) and i am very happy with her i love to peices though she can be a biut tricky to pose seeing as shes kicky but i adore her

Can't resist the chance to spam Yomi. He's a RS Yu I picked up at Dragon*Con 09. He also started the terrible bjd addiction. He's also a little difficult to pose but a friend is going to restring him for me as well as wire his legs to improve his poseabliity.

Yu's are around the same size as the bbb eric but there is a difference in the facial sculpt, the hands and feet are much more slim and detailed, and the wrist & ankle joints are thinner. I also think that the tummies are different as well.

I have a Resinsoul Yu but I want to change her legs a bit. Was wondering if anyone has a Resinsoul Yu or other tiny and a Soom sprite. I am hoping to put her lower legs in place of Yu's.

I am just not sure if sizes are right. I have never done a mod before.......LOL

Anyway, what I wanted to say, was that I got my Yu yesterday from JS. She is so cute. She is slimmer than the BBBs. Her legs have a little curve to them which is charming. I really like this little one, she is a keeper for sure!

 

I agree. She is adorable. I like her body much more than BBB. The BBB ones seem so awkward. Oh, and if you want to have a little fun....the 8" disney tinkerbell fairies clothes fit her. They are a little long, but very cute.

RS Yu could definetly be a male but yu is sold with a female body if you want a male body, I mean the RS Tiny body with a penis, you'll have to request that body when you order her/him that's what i'm gonna do.

wig size is 5-6 and 4-5 depending on how they are made both might fit
eye size is 10mm and you might be able too push 12mm if you like the lg iris look

I didn't see a Bobobie tinies thread, but I was wondering if the ResinSoul tinies were just as difficult to get the elastic cord through the feet holes? I was thinking about getting a ResinSoul tiny in the future. I had to restring my BBB Lucky since he was so tight that he wouldn't keep his legs straight. Now he can stand!

It was first time restringing and it was tough to even out the elastic cord for his legs. His right leg is tighter than his left. They still aren't even, but it's way better than before. I figure that once his shoes come in he'll stand even more stabler.

I think I mentioned that Nubanded on Etsy has shoes that will fit little Yu. Here is a better photo of Yu and her little boots. They fit pretty well.
