I'm sorry to butt in as well, but I've also been reading this thread from the start. ^^;;
Dragondavy1 and all the rest of you who have been scammed, this is why you
HAVE to contact
http://www.ic3.gov/ as recommended by many many people up thread. This government agency was specifically set up to
HANDLE INTERNET CLAIMS Your local police are not.
The mods on DoA are really great people, I'm friends with some of them in RL, but they're not super heroes, and legally they can only get so involved in any dispute they are not directly involved with. They can
BAN someone like
Celyne, they can offer sympathy and advice, they can make threads to try and help all those scammed find out about the problem, but they are just ordinary people, many of whom also have full time jobs they work as well as modding the board. You can not just sit and wait for the mods to make all the correct contacts for you, because they can't. You have to file a complaint with
http://www.ic3.gov/. If you paid my credit card, you need to contact your credit card company.
And on the debate of databases and such...
None of my dolls I own are in databases I think. ^^; I'm sort of lazy about them, though when people are buying from me I do my best to answer their questions, get their items out promptly, and take any pictures I can for them. ^^;
