Help! Stubborn PF won't stand!

Hi!
My little PF Yoko, QiDa refuses to stand on her own. When I dress her, her little legs go all crazy on me and her feet swivel around making it hard to dress her. She will sit if propped up and stand if leaning on something. I envy seeing all the wonderful gallery pics of amazing little ones standing on their own while QiDa refuses to cooperate and rather hang out with her grandmother and watch Jeopardy!
I dunno if some are just floppy to a certain degree or what...I dunno if I could attempt to restring her...she's so tiny...and I dunno if I could suede something with such tiny joints! Any hints?

Would I just slide it in through the openings like around her hips or ankles? Also- it would have to be coated wire, right?

Um, I don't know if this will help, but worth a try. My PF has some shoes that help, and to keep her steady I turn her legs in and then put her little feet facing forwards. It kinda puts her legs sholder width apart, and she dose well. Good luck!

Try to find coated wire like the kind they strap down poor dollies in their boxes (plastic dolls) or fuzzy pipe cleaners for stability. My elfdoll tinies depend on them for standing.

Just slip it though her legs from her thigh joints to start, and leave a little extra to stick up into her torso.

Go to your local hardware store and by like half a foot of telephone wire (costs about a dime). Telephone wire is 3 or 4 thin copper wires individually wrapped in plastic coating and twisted together. Unwrap them, then take one wire and cut it to the length from foot to waist. Then pull at one foot and slide one wire up the leg, then do the same with the other leg. Tada! BTW, do not use pipe cleaners or floral wire, as they will rust over time. Coated copper wire doesn 't rust.

Oops, I meant un-twist the wires! Make sure you leave the plastic coating on!

If the wiring doesn't give her enough stability, suede her joints. I sueded the joints on all three ElfDolls (along with wiring) and they will stand, sit, kneel, etc. now. The ElfDolls are notorious for being kicky and unstable too.

I put pipe claners in my catsy...now poses beautifully.
So from now I put pipe cleaners to all my tinies!

Pipe cleaners can rust, so not a good idea in the long run...

my pfs can stand very well balanced, without wiring or sueding, because I keep them well strung!
but I think sueding could be useful to hold more poses!
