    8/28 Special Announcement:

The St. Louis BJD Convention is a three-day EVENT!

On Friday, November 16th, get settled into our official hotel and then come out for our official Meet-n-Greet Happy Hour! Bring your dolls and meet our guests and socialize with the rest of the members. This event is exclusive to members!

On Saturday, November 17th, take the shuttle from our official hotel to our Programming Site! Saturday is devoted to programming that includes hands-on workshops, contests, lecture/demos, discussion panels, book signings, the dealer's room, and catered meals including our awards banquet. After the banquet, take the free shuttle back to your room at our official hotel.

Sunday morning it's time to pack up your hotel room, but be sure to meet us for the exclusive Brunch event! We will be hosting a special Dolly Brunch event showcasing one of St. Louis's finest locations.

The Friday and Sunday events are exclusively available to the members of the convention. You must be a member to attend these events with our guests!

    Guests!

    • Sarah Seiter, known online as the Mushroom Peddlar. She is providing a special edition doll just for our convention!
    • Paulette Goodreau, award winning doll designer of both the Goodreau American Ball-Jointed Doll Company and the "Make it Mine" doll line.
    • Allison Rasmussen, author of BJDs for Beginners (the blog and book) as well as the Fashion Doll Review.

    Workshops and Panels!
Our event is chock-full of entertainment including hands-on workshops, lecture-demos, round-robin discussions, and tons of inspiration. Our guests of honor will also have special events, such as book signings and demonstration workshops. Our Kickstarter has a list of the special events that you can book WITH your pre-registration!

    Contests and Prizes!
The League of People Who Dress Like Their Dolls team is holding costume contests for the dolls! We will also have goodie bags and a raffle for a local and very deserving charity, with prizes such as dolls, doll heads, and other limited edition items!

    The Banquet!
There will be a banquet with special guests and additional goodies and entertainment. We will also be announcing the winners of the contests hosted by the League of People Who Dress Like Their Dolls!
We will also be providing food and drink throughout the entire day!

    Pre and Post Convention Activities!
We are planning a meet and greet happy hour at the Hilton on Friday, November 16th, for those who arrive early or want to chat after they've settled in. On Sunday November 17th, join us as we sight-see in St. Louis, potentially including a trip to the Eugene Field House & Toy Museum, which features a large assortment of antique dolls! You can also take the opportunity to visit many of the free museums in St. Louis!

    Dollysitting for Dollies!
Having trouble trying to figure out which of your dolls will have to stay home? Do you want to bring the whole collection, but can’t haul it around the whole day? Check your doll in to the Dollysitting Room and reclaim it later.
