Dollzone Discussion - 60cm and 70cm - Part 3

Yeah! Always great to see more Edwards! Mine has a smexy outfit, but I need to get ready for work, so I'll have to post pics later....

Edwards seem so rare here on DoA. I think I've seen only 2 or 3 owners (yourself included). I don't know why he's so rare to see. he's a gorgeous sculpt (okay, so I am biased just a tiny bit *grins*).

I really hadn't expected him so soon due to the long time RD was taking so I haven't had the chance to make him any specific outfits OR get the wig I'd wanted for him *head desk*. But the weekend is almost here so....

...Just bit the bullet and contacted Jeeryama about taking advantage of the May Event - it should mean 2 of my floating heads get bodies quite a bit sooner than I'd thought they would. All going well I'll be getting the 70-003 body in white skin and the 65cm male body in pink skin.

That'll mean that 4 of my dolls will be mostly/entirely Dollzones! Hmm think it's rather obvious which company I like! The 2 dollzones I own so far are rather lovely

The DZ boys are very lovely. In a sense, it's almost a shame to cover them up with clothes. I like how elegant the DZ hands are and I think that makes a better than hoped for contrast with the RD mecha hand. The industrial look of the mecha hand with the classic look of his real hand is just perfect for him.

And I seriously love my work as I have Fei-Lau sitting in the corner of my desk with Sleet in his lap. Nothing quite makes a long work day better than having a pretty doll to look at *grins*. And I'm all doubly pleased as I managed to find the perfect stone for Fei-Lau at my jeweller's during lunch. He'll now have a lovely cabachon cut star sapphire in the centre of the snowflake on his forehead when he gets his face-up.

I've purchased full DZ dolls from Jeeryama twice, I can't recommend their service highly enough!

I don't think I've ever posted here before, but since I'm considering getting a new DZ boy, I thought I would look it up. I kinda want a Byron but I haven't seem many around . I want him to be my Yuu's younger brother, but I need to look at him better. DZ pics are all pimped up, it's hard to tell.

So I'll share my boy here too. This is Kieran. He was my 1st doll, I've had him for over 5 years ♥

Your boy is such an amazing sloucher!!! *droool* is that his default face up??

Star sapphires are lovely, but I hope you mind me asking Iron_Dog, because this will probably seem a crude question, but it was exactly what popped into my mind when you said "star sapphire," I thought, "holy crap! that would cost more than the whole doll!" So....it's....not a "real" star sapphire, right?

I'm really sorry, that was a rude question...

having such a hard time finding non manufacturer pictures of the olivers.. does like.. nobody have him? O___O i searched the web and only found ONE other oliver.. but he's serously painted/modded up so its like.. not what im looking to see QnQ i just want to see owner pics wehhh ; A;

Do you want him on a body or separate? I've got a DZ 70 body a Dollshe Pure body and a Volks SDGrB body. He's pinker then they are so the resin match won't be great though.

Gah - my Dollzone purchase has been stalled by EvilBays latest nanny state ploy... Can't work out how to send Jeeryama my paypal address since they're blocking all attempts at giving contact info... Sigh I'm sure we'll work something out but this is irritating, and I can't imagine what it'll do for business for people who rely on layaway payments...

What?! That's really annoying!! Did you try replying to a previous message jeeryama sent you via ebay? That's what I did when I had my layaway with jeeryama last year.

Worked it out by method of me describing a previous purchase in great detail so that Jeeryama could hunt it down from their records... Ugh I've no idea how we would have done this had it been the first time I'd tried to buy something from that shop!

Still - hooray! Drax will have his new 70-003 body, and The Duke can have the 72cm body he's currently on. Quite chuffed that this'll happen so soon (Hooray for events!)
