Hi JID friends! I'm in the process of moving and I have had no impetus to do doll stuff but I hope I will soon. I want to get a good picture of poor Yael for you guys even though I'm an illustrator and not a photographer so I can't take good photos. Her wig is still being horrible and I'm still heavily considering a replacement. The release of the KIDs is making me stare at Iplehouse waiting for them to release a dang wig size for them because it most likely will fit Isars.

The realskin Benny a few pages back is gooorgeous. I've been wanting one for a while and it's nice to see one.

Gill, they do look like siblings! The eyes you have in are really pretty, too.

LuckyXIII - Ooh! I like that wig on Ryder! I'm a huge fan of wigs that have streaks of color in them, and the red on him looks pretty awesome!

Guls - I get the feeling she was grumpy that I was sticking a camera in her face...she probably enjoyed the solitude that she'd had for a while.

Alright - he's still not finished (and I did a LOT without sealing in between 'cause the humidity jumped) but I figured I'd share a WIP photo with ya'll. Amy seems to be warming to him but I can't decide which wig yet ...

A. is closer in color and I was able to get the sides really close but
B. looks more realistic

Ban Sidhe - Wow! Boris looks so much older with the facial hair! Blank he looked like a "boy", but now he looks old enough to be a companion to my Isar.

i like the spikiness of wig a. it suits his character better. b looks like it needs to be gelled or something. it's too "pretty" (btw the faceup is looking fabulous)

Thanks for the opinions everyone and the nice comments So I think I can officially introduce my guy as 'Vance' - he fits as well as any doll ever will and Amy seems content with him ...

Kassia and Colin? Thank you so much for sharing Gill! Kassia's new but poor Colin's been out for a while and we still hardly ever see him.

Wow Ban, how old is Vance's character? He's so much more mature than I was expecting. Really like that last shot, Boris's nose is just great.

Vance is 34 (Amy is 22) ... not sure my guy pulls that off but as I said, this is as close as any MSD sized doll is ever gonna get.
