jo1961, I did make her clothes and sandals myself; the stole I bought ready-made - it's actually a bandana. Luckily enough, my dolls are all early medieval characters. Tunics I can just about manage! - It's you who made the 18th-century outfits for your Roderich and Rosie, isn't it? I have such an awful lot to learn...

LuckyXIII, it's probably mostly a matter of me getting to know my brand-new hot-glue gun... I never got the large blobs of glue people in tutorials seem to be producing, but I tried again just now (just making a blob on a piece of paper) and it worked a whole lot better. I think the glue wasn't hot enough - I'm supposed to be able to use the gun without keeping it plugged in, but the glue just doesn't flow very well then. I'll have another go at it.

I've never known a glue gun to stay warm enough to work correctly for more than about a minute after it has been unplugged - the glue cools off and thickens again quite quickly. Things tend to work best when there is a continual flow of heat into the gun. ^^

Yufe, I'm still on my unending search for that ever-illusive money tree...

Wow..love his eyes. It is amazing what a great face-up can do. Did you do the face-up?
I have a head I have tried 5 or 6 face-ups on and they all get wiped at the end. I just can’t relax when I am doing a face-up and have trouble getting the eyebrows to match. My face-ups all end up strange looking and that is never the look I am going for.

Yes, I did, thanks! I meant to make him all dark and brooding, but he decided he wanted to be a freckled redhead for some reason.

Oh, wow... Your V-02 looks amazing, Alewife! He looks so laid back and sweet. And you gotta love a man with such cute freckles.

Isn't it funny how they so rarely turn out as you originally intend them to? My V-01 was supposed to look quite natural, only to turn into a cranky, goth-style punk less than two weeks after his arrival! For being mere hunks of plastic, they sure do have minds of their own... Heehee. Makes life interesting. ^^

Is your V-02 in pink skin? I know that Fairyland's NS is in pink tone.

Kirika, you're right, they do have minds of their own! Which is strange, because there's nothing inside their heads.

Risou, he's normal skin. You can see he's a little yellower than the FL NS. Not bad though, and the head fit perfectly on the body, once I got that toggle thing off the neck.

Alewife he's wonderful and the face up is just beautiful! I was looking at him last night. I am always drawn to him with mixed feelings. Now I know it's the face up Granando has on him. He has so much character.

Ooo~ Looks like Granado will be making a new line of limiteds (as well as improving upon the webpage layout). Hmm... I wonder if they will be limited versions of sculpts that they have already released, or whether this line will be made up of entirely new sculpts. I look forward to seeing what they have in store for us.

... And, quite frankly, I'm glad that the website has kept them busy for a few weeks. My wallet needed a chance to breathe!

I hope you don't mind me clarifying this here..in light of what you say about the sculpts being limited. I assume that that means that once 50 of Sidonia have been ordered then she is no longer produced? Would that be right?

I really like her and don't know if I want to risk missing her!

Of course, there is always the hope of Granado events, where they re-release sold out sculpts temporarily (yes, I'm still hoping for a Titus re-release!), but there's no guarantee of who they'll release or when.
