Overview of issues:
SugarOverdose asked to trade some clothing for my doll, which I listed as a Dikadoll Peach as this was the doll I thought I had. The doll was on the marketplace for $150, but as it happened I in fact had a Berry not a Peach as I had thought. When she made me aware of this I apologised and immediately offered her to return the doll and when the items she sent arrived I would send them back to her, she declined this offer. We agreed that she would make an outfit for my Resinsoul Mei and she said that a shirt, waistcoat, trousers and coat would be worth the $150 value of the doll. I agreed to the trade but the items she sent me are not of a reasonable quality. Additionally, she was unable to complete the commission and sent only the shirt, waistcoat and trousers. When they arrived I discovered loose threads all over the items and many of the details had been glued on, with glue residue all over them. Additionally she had added items I had not asked for "as freebies" (to make up the value) but these are of a similarly poor quality. The hems on the sleeves of the dress she sent are actually glued together with what appears to be superglue, as it has gone stiff and crunchy.
I contacted her when I received the items to express my disappointment with the quality and offered her three options for resolution: 1. Re-make the outfit with higher quality materials and I would send her back the items she sent me. 2. Send me the doll back and I would send her the clothing back. 3. Send me the $150 value of the doll.
She had already ordered another Peach head, as this was the doll she wanted, so when she refused point blank to work with me on a resolution to these issues I said I would work with her and offered to accept only $112 as the new head would have cost $38. She declined this offer also. At this point I retract this offer due to her attitude and unwillingness to accept responsibility for her part of the trade. As resolution to this I would now like the full $150 she owes me or return of my full doll.
Here is all our correspondence:
My sales thread. Please note that there are several clear pictures of the face and I would have been happy to take more. I accept that I should have double-checked which doll I had and listed it correctly, this is entirely my fault and is the reason why I have tried to be understanding and pleasant throughout this transaction. However, I find it hard to believe that at no point did SugarOverdose notice that this was a different mould to the one she wanted; personally when I have my heart set on a specific doll I generally know what the doll looks like and would notice if the sales pictures didn't quite match up to my expectations. I would at least ask for more photographs in different lights and request the seller to check this before making any offers. At this point I am starting to believe that SugarOverdose was well aware of the doll I had and the mistake I had made and still initiated the trade.

As you can see, I sent this message at gone 2am because I felt bad having not contacted her with the measurements so I sent the message before I went to sleep, despite having been up all day dealing with the aforementioned family issues.Originally Posted by Ehryn

So don't worry, the clothes will be on their way back to you as soon as the doll is received - I have a week of holiday coming up so hopefully she will arrive during that time so I can ship the clothes back the same day
I think I had rather high expectations of you after reviewing my messages and realising I really wasn't very clear. I do still think the clothes were below the standard I would expect for the price, but I also believe I could have been more clear and precise about my request to ensure that this was not an ambiguous request - particularly about the blue item for my Souldoll which I realise now I have been unfair with you about.
