lol i already joined the facebook group XD and lurk it >.>;
at the moment I have plans for a golden dahlia, an ice dahlia, and one she-who-must-not-be-named :3 As to which one i order (now pushed to october XD ) i have no idea and it will be whatever one throws herself forward when I go to order :p
I'm coming to this rather late (Part IV of the Lusion thread wow!) but hoping someone can poitnme at a list (if one exists) of clothes that fit these girls?
I'm thinking Himstedt doll clothes and the like would probably work, but have only just ordered my girl today and would rather not have to wait the 3 months until she arrives before getting some clothes together for her and would rather skip the worrying about whether they will acutally fit when she gets here.
Thanks
Teddy

I bought a few things from Dollmore on a separate order so I can compare them to other clothes. My doll isn't here yet either, so I can't make specific recomendations.
I've had good luck with toddler clothing. What has worked best for me is a size 4-5 toddler shoe, and size 2T-3T in clothes. For most clothes I've had to take in the waist a bit but its not too hard to do. American girl doll skirts work, although they end up being a bit short. Most of the American Girl tops don't really fit because of the sleeves and neck, but I have one tank top by them that is an exception to the rule. I've also made a lot of things myself. Overall, I think the Lusions are easier to sew for than smaller dolls since you have a bit more space to work with.
I didn't think of that - but I don't like most of the clothes Dollmore offer for them, so....
Hmm I wonder what the UK equivalent sizes are. I know Hilarie has had some luck with the longer styles of 0-3 month dresses form Monsoon for her girl.
I'm hoping to buy /make some stuff before she arrives, so if anyone knows what doll-patterns work on the Lusion body (without needing the body there to fit them on) then I'd appreciate a heads-up.

Hi Lusion Lovers!!! I am expecting a Fairy Dahlia and I am sooooooooooooooooooooo excited!! Hi Cathy, Hi Brad!! Hi others whom I don't know yet! I was looking through Etsy for Childrens Fairy costumes and I found a seller who HAND PAINTS the SILK fabric and the toole that she uses on her 'photography;' costumes!!!!! WOW!!
I think I saw a Lusion wear a Himstedt original. You must let us know how it turns out with the Himstedt clothing. I've been using toddler clothing myself. Some work, some don't. It's a hit or miss thing.
That does sound exciting for sure!! So, if you supply her with measurements she perhaps will do something for your girl? Keep us posted on this, please! And up date us on FB too!!

Teddy,
What style clothing are you thinking of?
Will do - after she arrives some time in October.....
"Old-fashioned" sums it up best, I think.
I have a few Victorian/Edwardian baby dresses that I hope will work on her they're narrow enough in the shoulders/body yet long enough in the skirts that they should work, possibly with no more than a bit of hem adjustment (hopefully without).
Teddy
I had some similar clothes made by a seller on ebay who made for himstedt. They were close - a little large in the torso area, but nothing a safety pin or two didn't fix. I also like the Vistorian/Eduardian (inspired) era for my girl. She is playing Alice right now though.
yeah I just got some lusion clothes from dollmore so I'm gonna be one to use them to measure the fit of toddler clothes and fix them up as needed :3
That's very useful info - thanks!
Sounds like our girls will be dressed in similar styles then.
I must remember to keep my eyes peeled for suitable kiddie -shoes while in Chicago next month. There are bound to be different styles available in different areas of the world (although, I do already have 3 pairs of boots and 2 pairs of shoes put aside for her, so perhaps I should take it easy on the shoes and boots).
Teddy
I would be too! Those ears are just so cute.
