iMda 2.2 (22cm) Part 1

Ah, I'm totally in love with the new 2.2 Gian. She's adorable and I really like her more than Modigli. But I'm already waiting on a 2.2 Modigli and Soom won't let me switch since they already started production. What rotten luck that a few weeks after I order Modigli, Gian should release!!!

I was wondering, does anyone know about how long do these dolls generally stay in stock? I'm wondering if I should wait for Modigli to come home and then sell her, or if I should just buy Gian now.

Gian is on sale for a limited time, from July 30 to August 13th. If you want this Gian, you will probably just have to order her.

I ordered 2.2 Gian in natural skin. Now i'm waiting for her and my 3.0 'One Summer Day' Gian. It's so hard to resist these iMda dolls.

Oh I didn't realize it was only released for a few weeks! Thanks for letting me know. Oh man, now I definitely have to buy her! That's good marketing, and yet so evil. There goes my next paycheck.

Does anyone know if these dolls will fit LittleFee clothes? I think pants might be a little long for them, but otherwise they look really close to the size of a LittleFee.

The iMda 2.2 dolls are quite petite. They are closer to 8 in dolls. I can't find the comparison thread, so here is a comparison picture:

Yeah, I saw a comparison picture before. That's why I'm asking. I think their arms and torso look about the same length as a LittleFee, so I thought they could fit LTF tops and dresses, but they might need shorter pants. Does anyone know?

I think Little Fee clothes will be way to big in the upper body. I don't know if I'll have time to take any pictures today.

I just saw the CW 2.2 Modigli is for sale at the moment, not sure how long for but the clothes etc released at the same time say until November 27th...

I think the outfits, the navy blue and Alice dress, where posted the same day as the Modigli. I didn't notice that there weren't dates on her.

Very strange! I have asked on the Q&A board if there is an order period or if she will be available indefinitely so I will let you know when I get a reply! I may just have to order her before 27th though as I really want that Alice in Wonderland type dress for her!

Can I just say I've been walking round for the last few days singing 'I like the way you work it, Modigli' to the tune of No Diggity! Also I just caved and ordered the CW one with her lovely dress

I had a reply from Soom, they said the CW Modigli isn't limited so you can buy her any time! So that's good news, the outfits etc that were released the same time are only available until today though.

After admiring your girls for a while now, I can finally introduce my own Modigli. This is Gertie. She arrived home on Friday and already I'm pretty smitten with her. I really like her proportions and her worried little expression.

So....I have a question. Does anyone have (or would be willing to take?) pictures of a dressed 'Fee (Littlefee or Pukifee?) with a dressed iMda? I feel the proportions are a little awkward side-by-side when they're not dressed, but I think clothes tend to change things. ^_^

I have a 2.2 (Cassie) and think she's a lovely little thing - I was a bit surprised at first by just how tiny and delicate her limbs are though! I don't have a 'fee for comparison purposes - but the YoSDclothes I had were massive, so she had to wear some hastily cobbled together dungarees until I got her a blythe dress (sleeveless, which was a good fit!)...

jelizaRose I think they are reasonably well jointed and poseable. Their arms are long in comparison to their body which makes some poses look a bit funny but they stand like a rock!

Brett I can do that for you - I have both pukifee and littlefee. They look better than some other dolls, even though they're long, their heads are in proportion with both sizes (unlike, say my pocket fairy sugars)

shrinkomatic Cassie is super cute - I love her hair and eye combo. She looks like a little tomboy. I was surprised by their proportions too. I have a few other dolls in the 20cm range and she is quite different. Gertie's currently wearing a pair of re-ment jeans (I think they're re-ment) that I was sent in a blythe swap years ago. They've never really fit any of my doll family but the'yre a perfect fit for her. I'll have to try and get a photo soon.

I wish more people would share photos of these cuties!
