    Today is the deadline for Lithis to change her address with Paypal

    As of this moment, I have not received any notifications from Paypal concerning Lithis's address.
    I believe she has until the end of the day today, but no confirmation as to what time that would be.

    The Paypal status still says that they're waiting to hear back from her.

    Lithis was online yesterday, but unsure if she read the PM I sent.
    I would think she would due to the pressing matter...

    Paypal will notify me when the time is up and to ship to whatever address they have. That likely won't be until the post offices are already closed here, so the head will be shipped first thing Friday.

    Still no notifications of any kind from Paypal so far.
    The post offices close very soon for today. The head is to be shipped tomorrow morning, with whatever address Paypal has.

    If it is shipped to her old address, she has to go pick the package up. If she does not, I believe the head will be shipped back to me. Unsure as I've never had that happen, but I believe that's how it works with registered mail.

    Lithis did not change her address with Paypal

    I called Paypal to confirm the address and they said Lithis had not contacted them at all, throughout the entire span of the case.

    When she said she contacted them, she must have replied to the email that says not to reply at the bottom.

    They have determined that the address they have on file is the correct one (confirmed with Lithis to be her old address).

    I now question her overall desire to resolve this at all.
    I had recommended to her that she call Paypal instead of emailing, which she didn't do correctly or something to cause them to not receive it.
    I even offered to help her email them correctly since it's actually a form to fill out on the website, not an actual email address.

    The head will be shipped in a couple hours, to her old address.
    It is her complete responsibility to pick up her own package from that address.
    If she does not, it will get sent back to me and that will be the end.
    These facts are confirmed with Paypal and according to them, I will not get penalized and will receive my refund.


    I am very tired of this.
    Lithis has not been helpful at all in resolving this. I even had to contact Paypal and fix things for her.
    It was I that set up the window for her to fix her address!
    Not only that, but she tried to convince me that I was wrong and wouldn't receive my refund if I didn't listen to her, which at that point, Paypal had ruled in my favor. She should have gotten an email saying so.

    Since this was a horrible birthday present experience, my mom has given me a few extra funds to ship the package back faster. However, I'm unsure if I can put the registered service on a priority package, doesn't say I can on the website.

    I will update what service was used when I return from the post office. My parents and I just want this entire thing done with and out of our lives.

    The head has been shipped

    The head has been shipped back to Lithis.

    Since my mom provided me with more shipping funds, I was able to send it back via USPS Express.
    Tracking and $100 of insurance included, 3-5 days estimate arrival.

    Paypal was given a non-edited image.

    For reference, my family home is in Oxford MI., while my apartment is located in Grand Rapids MI.

    As said before, it it Lithis's responsibility to pick her package up from her old address.
    I believe Paypal said that once it arrives at the address it was sent to, I will get my refund.
    I will have to call to confirm, but that won't be until later. I will not be home this afternoon.

    As it stands, I will consider this resolved when:
    -I have my refund.
    -When the package stops moving. Meaning if it arrives in Lithis's hands or ends up getting shipped back to me.

    I will update when the situation changes.

    I called them a couple times specifically to see if Lithis had contacted them, each time answering no.

    As said before, if Lithis replied to the email notification that Paypal sent her about her address, Paypal would not have gotten anything. That email is specifically for notifications ONLY. It's inbox is never checked by personnel.
    The email states this at the bottom of it.
    Lithis would have had to fill out the form on the website through the 'Contact Us' page, which I offered to help locate and fill out.

    I will update with further PMs, tracking updates, and anything Paypal says.

    Paypal sent an email to me yesterday acknowledging the tracking number.

    The package has been sorted and left Detroit, MI.
    Assuming the next stop will likely be the airport in NY, however I do know that the post offices are closed Monday due to Memorial Day and that might prevent it from leaving the US until Tuesday. I suppose it depends on how fast it is able to get on the plane.
    I will likely update again when it looks to be in Italy customs.

    No further PMs sent from or to Lithis.
    I will message her when it is in Italy, to make sure she pays attention to the tracking number in order to pick up her package.
    I actually have not heard if she is actually going to pick it up. I am assuming she is willing to as there was no other choice since she did not correctly contact Paypal about the address change.
    The last response on the matter was for me to mail to her new address, which I couldn't. So it's unclear what will happen when the package attempts delivery.

    I contacted paypall as I said and I replied that paypall address has changed and so has been ... paypall if he has not communicated to you is not my problem ... as it is not my problem if it has not communicated to you ... As I discussed earlier I communicate with you via paypall only because I have a job to do and more ch stand behind you ... I communicated with you via email .... I do not know what more could you want from me ...

    I called them several times asking if you had submitted a change of address.
    Each time, the agents said that they did not have any record of communication from you.
    No emails, calls, or anything.

    Such information would have been recorded fast! Their records were checked every time I called!

    It IS your problem if the information did not get recorded!
    You could have called to confirm your address had been fixed!
    It was not my responsibility to fix your address.
    I was the one that set it up so that you could in the first place.


    As for communicating through Paypal, there is none. We submit facts and various other bits of data to the Paypal Claim agents, and then they decide what is to be done.
    The fact that you're saying you only wish to communicate through Paypal means you don't want to communicate at all.

    The deadline for changing your address was the 24th. I called them on the 25th asking if they had any new information.
    They said no, none at all.
    They then requested that I go ahead and ship the package.

    If you don't pick up the package, I believe it will end up getting sent back to me.
    It is your responsibility to pick it up at your old address.

    I contacted paypall to request that no motiv years changed my address with the new one even though my answer ...
    I told her what was the right address you do not want to ever listen to me I was not even a cheat or something ...
    However, as soon as I answered it there to inform you ...
    If you have an e-mail you around even my response to paypall with dates and everything ...
    in addition to responding to him I do not know what to do and if the parcel back is not my fault but yours that you did not listen and paypalla who has not done its job ... I did everything I was required to best solve this thing ...
    I have no time to waste I want this thing closes ...

    Paypal ruled in my favor and said I had to do what they say in order to get my refund.
    They told me not to listen to your requests about your address and that they needed you to contact them to change it.
    I had to ship to the address they had.

    I think you're missing the point that I had no choice but to obey what Paypal is telling me to do.
    You don't get to decide what it is I have to do to get my refund, they do.


    It does not make sense that they did not have your correct address then. It would have been recorded in the case notes they have if you told the case workers! The information would have been available immediately when I called!
    There is no reason why the agents wouldn't have had your updated information if you had called them on time.

    What day and time did you call? This could be a matter of your time zone being 6 hours ahead of mine.

    Paypal assures me that I will get my refund when the package arrives. Even if it does get sent back to me.

    It is simple to call your old address and let them know that a package of yours will arrive there.
    Then you can go pick it up.
    I do not see what is the big issue about this other than you are unwilling to find time in your day to go do so.
    If you don't go to pick it up, I will still get the refund and likely the head as well. (still not 100% if it get's mailed back to me. Happens with express packages here, but unsure about Italian post.)

    As it stands, my requirements to consider this resolved are still the same.

    I would also like to add that the package has been processed through Chicago, IL.
    Right now I am assuming that it is going through Chicago's international airport.
    The tracking won't update more until tomorrow, as today is a holiday.

    I have called once again to absolutely confirm these facts:

    -They don't have ANY record of Lithis contacting them. Lithis must have called a wrong number or emailed their 'do not reply' email. There's no other explanation.

    -The package 100% had to go to the address they had on file.

    -When the tracking shows that the package has arrived at that address, I will get my refund, which will be turned back into US dollars.

    -Even if she does not actually receive it (refuses to pick it up, etc), I will still get my refund.

    Other facts:

    -I am unable to see any emails Lithis sends to Paypal. She said I am in her last post, this is incorrect.

    -I am still uncertain if the package will be mailed back to me if she does not pick it up.

    I would like to know what number Lithis called or what sort of email contact she had with Paypal.
    Just to confirm that it was the correct number or way to email them.
    Knowing what day and time she called would also be helpful.
    There's just no way that the agents I spoke with wouldn't have had her information.
    They said that she has not contacted them at all, period.

    Just updating that Paypal has emailed me to provide proof of shipment.
    Meaning upload photos or scans of the mailing receipts to the claim page.

    I had given these to them when they requested a tracking number, but I had no problem doing so again.
    I sent them front, back, and tracking number circled photos.

    I will likely call them later to confirm that the photos uploaded correctly and to be sure that's all they wanted.

    The tracking has not updated and is still "Processed Through Sort Facility" at "ISC CHICAGO IL".
    I know that 'processed through' means it has already left the International Service Center, and is likely in Italy customs now(according to Google searching).

    Other than that, no new messages from Lithis nor other news regarding the case.

    I had tried it earlier, but it wasn't working. However, the link the member gave me is! Thank you!

    According to that, the package seems to be in Italy customs.
    USPS tracking does not show that information. Though it will show when the package arrives.
    I will call Paypal and let them know this information and see if I can upload this link to them so they can monitor it as well as USPS tracking.

    I called Paypal, confirmed that the images I sent were nice a crisp for detailed viewing and if it was what they were looking for.
    I also gave them the Poste Italiane link that the member here gave me so that they can also use that to track it.
    Thanks again!

    They confirmed that the package is in Italy's customs.
    I will PM Lithis when it leaves customs as a head's up that it's coming her way and to be ready to pick it up.

    According to USPS and Italy's websites, the package has cleared customs.
    Just the Italy site shows that it is on route to destination though.

    I have PM'd Lithis about it's status and just as a reminder that it's close to arriving.

    After this PM, I'm now assuming that Lithis is unable to understand enough of the English language to know that I could not ship to her new address, only the one Paypal had.
    I am slightly questioning if she knows that Paypal ruled in my favor and now has control over the situation.

    I just entered the two addresses into Google Maps, the two address are not even 10 minutes away!

    I'm trying to remain very factual and non-emotional when I make these posts.
    However, I'm seeing her as being very unreasonable at this point. Her not understanding the situation makes it very stressful when trying to explain it to her, which I have attempted several times.
    Again, it would be greatly appreciated if someone could notify her of the situation in Italian or send me the translated facts in Italian. I'm hesitant to use online translators since I know they have a degree of error more-so than a live person.

    I noticed a status update on the Italian post website, wasn't sure what the translation meant, so I checked USPS.com's tracking.

    USPS.com's tracking said that it had been unable to be delivered and will attempt again the next business day, which will be tomorrow.

    I am uncertain how many attempts the post workers will make.

    I have notified Lithis that she is willingly giving up the head if she does not make arrangements with the current residents to pick it up.

    My requirements for resolution still stand.
