Just curious, as my Ophelia is going to be wearing a dark brown wig from Luts and I normally just put the wig on and leave it there. :/
First off, I don't have any Luts wigs so I can't speak for them. I do have a number of JPopDolls and Monique wigs. It was my understanding that the synthetic hair was colored as part of the manufacturing process and not dyed or colored after the fibers are made, so the color is an integral part of the fibers and not some material sitting on the surface. The only issue I've had with head staining is from the dyed wig caps the hair fibers are attached to, those caps having been dyed to match (or close to it) the color of the hairs. I don't think there would be a problem with the hair fibers, just the dyed wig cap.
Then again, I don't have any Luts wigs so I can't speak directly about them.

Well, I have a Luts MSD wig and the quality is awesome. But can't tell if it might stain the vinyl heads because it's pale blonde and the cap is a very light colour. But I second what K-2 said, it's probably the dyed elastic edges that causes stain (I've had a ring-like stain around one of my doll heads) and also the snug parts of the wig cap that comes in direct contact with the head.

    Haruka

That Bunny Girl is seriously adorable. I love the red.
I'm new, so I'm sharing doll pictures.
Haruka was my second bjd (1st was a 1/6th). Her name is Lily. She has a sister (Gretel, named Rosalie) who is off-topic because I inserted sculpey eyes in her that I painted.
    Anyway, here's Lily, pondering.

neurocidic as people have said, it isn't really the fibres that are the issue, it's the wig cap, the problem is that even if you have a plastic protective cap on your doll's head, generally it doesn't perfectly align with the wig or the wig will move around etc. and you will end up with a ring at the edge of the head cap.

onomatopoeia that bunny girl outfit is sexy, matches her perfectly.

EABNYC such a beautiful haruka, her hair is really pretty, I love the curls, it looks so natural/real.

I was wondering, to anyone who has ordered off yamato-toys.com before, how long do they usually take to ship? Is it pretty quick, or more like 3 months like some other companies? I am just wondering because I ordered one with a blank head, and I don't know if I should try reserve a faceup slot yet or not... ;3

I didn't think Yamato shipped outside of Japan. I've always ordered through a proxy. Anyway, from the time the proxy placed the order to the time Yamato shipped was usually a day or two, when the item was in stock.

I found this Yamato USA website http://www.yamatotoysusa.com/page.cfm/891
Not sure about their order process or international shipping. And looks like they don't have vmf50 Nao.
