Lisa's Dream Dolls: Thanks so much for the help! I understand the email better now.

I read through the pictorial about the pipe cleaners and saved it. I'll buy pipe cleaners today.

cbnloo5: Thanks for an alternative way to put in the pipe cleaners. That gives me a way to solve a problem if it comes up.

Valli: You're lucky Cyd came already posable with the pipe cleaners. I love her new backpack!

Now all I have to do is to look for clothes and wait. I hope some of my PukiFee clothes will fit. I don't have many but I'll rummage around and check.

I saw it early this morning! Love those dolls! I really like Person 17 but I think I should wait before ordering until I actually hold my Person 21 in my hands before buying another. Clothes are frustratingly hard to find. I think we have until Sept 23 unless the special dolls sell out sooner.

merci, my pukifee clothes are fitting. except for one outfit specifically made for them i have not bought clothes for them.
I dont know what to think of the new dolls yet. i am only interested in the basic, without the clothes but I guess you are paying for the different faceup too.

Just popped in to see what everyone thinks of the new releases!
I think the new girl, No. 17 is cute but I really love the tanned No.21.

Whether I will be tempted though remains to be seen.....I am very happy with Percy and Kobi and just can't imagine what it would be like to have a second No.21!

I guess we have quite a while to decide though!

edited to add. Oh dear, I fear for my wallet. At first glance in the teeny tiny pictures I thought I was completely safe from all of them but when I opened up the pages, I started getting a little worried. I don't like the way they styled the 21 - she looks a bit Ganguro style to me with that crazy peroxide hair but I think in different hairs she could be completely awesome. And I love everything about that #08 including the outfit.

I'm looking forward to seeing a regular release of the #17. I think she shows potential

The site was down due to all the traffic, haha! Its back up for now. I've been working towards getting an 8 for my first Person and was happy to see the Limited 8 wasn't particularly catching my eye...until I scrolled down and saw 17! I don't even care about the faceup as much as I think 17 sculpt really suits the dark resin, and since I'm afraid the regular release will be pale I had to give in. Now I've got to re-read this thread to hunt down some shoes!

Huge congrats, astrosnik. Oh my! I really like the new mod 04! Can't afford her, so we're safe here for now. Besides, I'd get clobbered an extra 40% for tax, so that really puts me off. Does anyone know if they mark the value down?

I'm not sure about the tan one. I'd like to see owner pics, then I'll probably regret it. I love Cyd so much, I can't think of adding another Person. She might hit me, but I think she'd get on great with that 04.

Valli she might not hit you if she figures out that an extra person = bargaining power. They do mark the boxes down, or at least Drusilla's was as I thought I'd have to pay taxes on her and didn't.

astro, youre right the regular Persons are nearly white compared to my Fairyland NS dolls. I personally love it, it has a pinkish hue.
Unless I sell someone, I wont be getting another one too. It was owner pictures that sold me in the first place. I had to put pipe cleaners in LooLiu's legs so she wouldnt kick Melinda Mae, i dont know what she would do with more competition! but never say never.

All these new persons and the hype, plus how totally adorable Cyd is has my hand really straying to the buy it now button--the faces on the new numbers are calling to me--but saving my dolly dollars for others--oh, what to do, what to do! I used to be very happy enjoying these unique little people vicariously. . .

the new dolls are adorable, and I'm so broke these days. I wanted at least two of these new releases. Not to mention other dolls I really need. I like the outfits too, they're very cool.

I got an email yesterday telling me my Person 21 doll is on her way. It had the EMS tracking number but so far it doesn't work on the EMS site. Sometimes it takes a day or so for the info to be available. I'll keep checking. Maybe she'll arrive by the end of the week or maybe next week.

Hi all! Sorry I have been MIA - other stuff going on. Congratulations to all of you who have or are getting new girls! I see some lovely new faces here! ! HAD to check in to see what the scoop was on the new Persons! Argh! Love them so much! Have to see who I can sell to get a 17 - I think she is just gorgeous and who knows if this tan color will be limited. What's another cousin at this point?! And that 08 is calling to me too, but, frankly, I am afraid of Mavis' reaction if another 08 moved into her "territory!" (At the very least I am sure she would sic her pet ants on an interloper!)
