The ant farm was a very lucky eBay find under dollhouse miniatures. I wracked my brain trying to figure out what kind of a pet Mavis should have because, clearly, she needed some kind of pet to keep her occupied. Ant farm just seemed the perfect choice for her.
Imajica, Linnet is considering an OFF-TOPIC doll as an older sister; she wants to make sure that there won't be threads devoted to anybody but her on DOA. Heh. The new girl, who is veryveryveryclose to being ordered, is a JerryBerry. I want another Person, but that can't happen till summer... so in the meantime there may be a taller sister. But Linnet will still be the Queen of DOA... until I manage to get myself an 8, and then some competitive behavior is sure to arise.

oolookitty oooh I think a JB would make a great older sister for a person. I have one so when Drusilla eventually deigns to make an appearance about these parts, I can photograph the two of them together for you. Depending on the sculpt you choose, she could be Linnet's slightly clueless older sister (my Constance Mary, a basic Berry is a bit clueless) and Linnet would absolutely have the upper hand in the relationship. I'm hoping Constance Mary will get along with Drusilla as I think they'll look quite awesome together - plus they can share clothes and shoes.
I am a bit disappointed today - there were only two questions in the q&A and secretdoll answered the other one and has ignored mine, and now it's the weekend. Can anyone tell me what the status on your page should say when you're still waiting for it to be shipped?

I think nothing on the page changes when you're waiting... and then all of a sudden it's "on shipping" and you get excited and run around and throw confetti and go out and stand by the mailbox. Sorry they didn't answer your question -- how annoying! Although I think I did once get an answer on a Saturday, so maybe all hope is not lost.

Well, you know they say when you lose one sense the other ones are heightened (though I'm not really sure that applies to Person telepathy). They do seem to have their ways of knowing exactly who has what that they do not have. Might have something to do with all those lists they seem to like to keep! And texting. I suspect Persons do lots of text messaging.
I have to go see one of these JerryBerries for myself! Not sure what it is but whatever it is, it will be no match for a Person, even if it is an older sister!

And DollZWize, the Midwich children are from a story called "The Midwich Cuckoos", and are telepathic children who share a group mind and can cause people to do terrible things.. I suppose buying them a lot of outfits, and ponies, would definitely be in their range of capabilities!
LOL OoolooKitty - I Definitely like your reading suggestions, and sense of humor - not to mention we both seem to be on the same wild hours. I do indeed wonder if some of our Persons must have come default having read that story. Now if we can just get them to keep to outfits and ponies! Like they listen to us....

Heh. I think Imajica came up with the Midwich reference -- but I've definitely read it! And perhaps Persons have it with them as they make their way from Korea to their new homes... getting ideas for how to hook up with the groupmind and force us all to buy them more and more shoes...
Now that I think about it... A Little Person would definitively be the only on topic tiny in my family...
