^It does, thank you so much! So it's not like...forever between or anything, but fairly long.
Ugh. Unoas are just so darn pretty.

HOME: Zaoll boy!Luv (Jinyoung)
On layaway: Supia Rosy [$391/$541.31] (Nana)
I haven't even gotten my first Unoa home and already I'm wanting another one. I'm in no rush. xD But these dolls seem to be very addicting. I'm really glad that I waited and got one when I did, though.
Anyways! My Lusis is officially on shipping! I'm so happy. I can't wait to have her home at last.
Signature Coming SOON.
I have an odd question for those of you with Unoa BOYS -- I just got my first body, and it's in lovely shape -- but I'm having a terrible time with the mid-torso joint flopping around. I tightened the stringing, which helped marginally, but I'm still having crazy floppiness (I'll stand him up straight and lift him, and his body will snap forward or off to the side.)
I checked the instructions, and all of his parts are present and accounted for, and I've assembled six Unoa kits, so I knew what to check for in terms of an *obvious* problem, but something's going on with him, I think.
I'd hot-glue-suede the inside of his upper torso joint to see if it helped, but I just moved and don't know where any of my tools are yet
Is this a thing with Unoa boys? Do they just *do* this and need sueding? Or is it an unusual problem? (I've never had to suede my Unoa girls' torsos, but this is the first time I've ever held a boy in my hands.)
Just a moment . . . EEEEE EXCITED DANCE FOR HAVING MY FIRST BOY!!!
He can flirt with ALL the 43cm ladies of my household ;D
Heartplace, I only have one hybrid (recent NS MiniFee body), and I didn't find the resin differences to be all that great -- I didn't blush her body at all, and this is Calla on her new body:
One note -- I do think the neck is a little too long, so if you're going to *solely* use it for Unoa hybrids, you may want to sand it down a little. I have a MNF DES head that I'd been intending on re-bodying on this body, and I still haven't decided who the final owner is going to be -- so, for now, any Unoa girls on the body will just have to have lovely swanlike necks.
I'm using a Buff headback, btw.
Hope this helps!

Ashbet, I haven't had a Unoa boy in house for awhile, but found his body to be as poseable as my Unoa girls...nothing unusual with the torso.
I have sanded down Buff's headbacks, on the inside of the neck-hole (love my dremel!), and then used a neck donut on the inside of the head to set the S-hook in, for my recent hybrids. It has worked perfectly, allows me to get great head movement, and the right neck length, while keeping the body in original condition.
My Unoa's have been hybridded to Shinydoll bodies, using modded Buff headbacks. Here's a comparison shot of a Shinydoll hybrid, flanked by a large bust and small bust torso Unoa (resin match with my Lusis faceplate is dead on!):

Thanks, Wally!! I may try restringing him -- I tightened the stringing, but maybe something is slightly off? When I find my glue gun, I'll suede his torso, too.
It's not so much that he has problems posing as that his torso is crazy-snappy/unstable -- with my Unoa girls, if the chest lock was in place, they'd stay upright if I picked them up.
I'll try the sueding first, once I locate my tools. Right now, he's wearing a spare faceplate of mine (his original Lusis-boy faceplate needs a slight touch-up), and my cranky Christobel (modified partially-opened-eyes sleeping Lusis plate) looks fab in a slouchy TTYA sweatshirt, skinny jeans, and skully Vans . . . she definitely can pass for a boy, for the moment!

I love this doll SO much. I can't even... I mean, I knew Unoas were pretty, but I never knew just HOW pretty in person until I got her.
Signature Coming SOON.
Good luck Ashbet...are his strings the same size as your girls? I can't remember, do the boys have that same extra torso piece as the girls?
pinksugar, I am always blown away at how "pretty" Unoa's are! Congrats on your new beauty!
I received a new faceplate this week, a Pierrot, and wasn't expecting her to be as pretty as she is, but she is PRETTY!!!
Here's my new girl, a very pretty pierrot...

BeePrince; Thank you so much!! I have other clothes for her to wear on the way.. unfortunately the dress has a difficult time fitting on her right. :[ But I'm glad it turned out for pictures!
wally; Thank you!! I think all of them have their own unique charm- your girl is no exception. Such a pretty pierrot!!

Waaa it's soo lovely looking at everyone's photos. I just got a Lusis last week, I have to say I'm in love with her, she is just sooo cute.
Here is Mika-chan
I bought her second hand so she needs a new face up and her seams need to be sanded, but she is still cute as a button.
Also when I got her only one of her thigh pieces was glued in, so I was wondering what type of glue I could use to glue in her other thigh piece? Preferably a glue I can get in Japan.
aaaawwww Ksiny she is soooo cute!!
Ksiny, amazing doll ! i was so hesitate with to bought the new skin on japanese webshop Alchemic labo >___< ! Raaaaaaaaaa !
