Belated, but thank-you for the response! I purchased a backplate from Buff and a Sist faceplate!! My first Unoa *o* It'll be fun to have a project doll to work on over time. I'm so excited because I've admired Unoas for a long time. <3 I'm enjoying seeing owner photos in this thread!

What are most people using for bodies with their hybrids? I was thinking of a minifee body as I'm familiar with them. But colour matching is also important. Is there a favourite body among hybrid owners?

Minifees are used, but they need a lot of blushing to match. Unoas are qite in the middle of Fairyland's NS and WS so neither will work out of the box.

I've seen quite a few Lati hybrids and they seem a good match with minimal blushing needed. I'm getting a Little Monice body myself and I'll report once it gets here

I'm very excited to be joining this thread at last. My very first Unoa- a Lusis- is coming home in less than a month, and I've already bought her two outfits. xD I can tell she'll be one of my most demanding dolls when it comes to fashion.

I had a question, though, about the eyes, and I figured this would be the best place to ask it? Does anyone know if 10mm or 12mm are better fits? I know what color of eyes I want to get her, but I'm worried about size. ^^;

I'm also worried about wig size. Is 6-6.5in or 6-7in. better than 7-8in?

I have used 12mm in my girls head pink sugar and imho thet look lovely. heart place i have opted for a souldoll kid body as this was the closest measurements i could find other than a minifee or unoa body. It was all i could
manage at this present time, but the souldoll body was so much more reasonably priced

I've looked at a few bodies from the Hybird thread and so far the souldoll body and dreaming doll body are my favourites. Although I might opt for the souldoll one since you said the measurements are the most similar. The Aria body was nice, but sold out on the site. Do you have any photos of yours on the souldoll body?

pinksugar I use 10mm eyes. It's a bit tricky to get them in without small gaps showing but I like my dolls' eyes small.
As for the wig, 7-8 is way too big so 6-7 is the way to go :3

pinksugar, I use 10mm and 12mm eyes in my girls. 12mm give them a younger look, 10mm give them a more mature look.
Heartplace, for hybrid bodies, ShinyDOLL Fragille bodies absolutely cannot be beat. The resin match is dead on, the measurements are very similar and the poseability of the ShinyDOLL body is the best available!

Here is a body comparison; The ShinyDOLL hybrid is in the middle, flanked by a small bust and large bust Unoa. The resin match of a ShinyDOLL body and an Unoa faceplate is perfect, my Unoa bodies in this photo have yellowed abit over time.

Candy kitten, I hope your body comes in soon-I hear Souldoll is a bit behind with their orders unfortunately. I've just ordered a Unoa Lusis yesterday. I don't really have any clothes for her yet, but I would like to make her some; especially jeans~ she looks so cute in them! <3 If anyone knows of any good patterns-I am all ears! Btw, all the spam is really nice!

I use 14mm eyes in my Lusis and it is also on a minifee body. Yes, the resin does not match but it did not take much to look just fine now with a faceup. Here's a picture for reference o u o

Lynessa, I have a couple of jean patterns for Unoa 1.5, I got one of them from etsy, and although I have cut the pattern out, I haven't actually started the jeans, so I don't know about fit. The seller is AliceinCraftyland. The pattern is written in Japanese, and the pdf is protected so that you can not edit it, and must print it out with all of the directions (I'm an ink miser, and edit anything out of a pattern that I don't need, so I found that a bit irritating).
