Unoas are slender minis, which is to say they are about the same height as the Volks MSD and similar dolls but proportioned in a more adult manner. Other slender minis include the Narindoll Narae and Narin, the Minifee line now sold at Fairydoll, and Limho and Limwha. Unoas take a 6/7 size wig.


I have a Lusis, named Helly, and a Sist, named Tish. I adore their beautiful sculpts, their funny little faces, and the elegant and lovely job that Araki did in engineering them.

Everytime I look at the two of them, I smile.

Ahh! A new Unoa thread! Here is one of my two Unoa from awhile ago.



Sharon- your two girls are adorable. Are the both the Lusis sculpt?

Zenna- Your girls look so young! I especially like the flat bust piece for your Lusis.

I wasn't expecting her for a few days yet so I was super surprised this morning to find that my Lusis arrived!! She needs a new face-up and I plan to sand her seams and re-do her body blushing, but here she is as she came to me with an extra Lusis faceplate. I am so very happy with her and I can't wait to start customizing her! Speaking of which if anyone has any tips on seam sanding I would love to hear them.

PS: What are your thoughts on the eye mechanism? It seems a little fiddly to me. I was excited to try it, but now I feel all "Eye mechanism....hahahaha...NO" ^^;

My thoughts on the eye-mech: "Nice idea, Araki-sensei, I just wish it worked." He has doing eye-mechs for all his dolls, and they have evolved with each doll type. I haven't had the opportunity to try the latest versions out...

Yay! Congrats! You should totally make a box opening thread when you have the chance. I don't think there is a special one set up, I think you just make your own in the box opening/arrival gallery section. :3

Hi everyone! It's a bit late and my photo isn't very nice since I'm still waiting for a delivery from Alice Collections but My new girl is here! Her name is Eliza. I'm sure you recognize her from Gamayun's posts. I'm so sorry she doesn't have her own wig yet and unfortunately her face plate was floating around the package so there is a chip on her nose but I am so excited to share her here. Her travel companion is wearing a terrible wig as well but I have no other one in a dark color that fits at the moment so it will have to do.



I promise the next photo I show of them will be much nicer. This is the photo of them after a long flight and processing through customs.

EDIT: and yah! They are Valentine's Day Babies!

Aww, sorry to hear about the chip on her nose. Is it only in the face-up or did the resin suffer the damage? Either way, it's hardly noticeable in the pic...in fact if you hadn't of mentioned it I probably wouldn't have noticed, so hopefully with a little hard work she will be as good as new!
