Oh, that's an entirely different look for him, Sharkya. VERY interesting. Nice resin match too. Is that normal-yellow DZ?
AnitaS, it's actually their normal pink. Doll-Zone's normal pink isn't really pink, but more like a light normal yellow color.
How's the neck fit on that DZ body? From the stats, I would think there's a substantial overhang (DZ neck much smaller than Vezeto neck). . . . I'm really liking that DZ body. It's almost - but not quite - got the Doll Chateau extreme thing going.
There's the 2mm gap that you can spot on his neck only, the chin and the sides of the head look fine. I guess that region would be covered by a wig most of the time anyway.
Sharkyra, it looks pretty good on this one too. Nice to see more bodies possibilities for this mold. What about the mobility of the head ? Can you move it well ?

I love Dollclans Vezeto! The nose is to die for. I'm waiting for it to be re-released or any heads similar in size and I'll definitely jump on him.
I was reading through the posts and somebody suggested that it might fit a Spiritdoll Herculean body but the neck size is slightly bigger by 1cm. Will anyone try this combination? Thanks!
I just sent my Vezeto head off to the Lula makeup shop here on DoA.
I'm still waiting for the Spirit Doll body but, according to the waiting room thread, SD is very slow and uncommunicative so I have no idea when that will show up.
In any case, when everything comes together I'm looking forward to posting a pic.
My Vezeto head arrived a few weeks ago. After much staring I still couldn't come up with any ideas for styling him, so I just kept on trying to read him, trying on various eyes and wigs and nothing popped. Just last night his persona "Alejandro" revealed himself, resulting in much spam on Flickr. No face up yet, but you all know how just the right eyes and wig will pop and then the persona reveals. I love this sculpt and yes, that nose, it fascinates and captivates. Alejandro is so dominating he stole Abies' Proud 2 body, and I do believe that he can make far better use of that body than Abies ever could, if you know what I mean! (it's in the pictures, guys, but ya can't see it)
Does anyone here plan to not have a face up done? I am really debating about this. He photographs so well without one, and yet, maybe ..... I'd like some opinions please.
OMG I didn't realize I had promised someone pics of Vezeto head on Spirit Proud 2 body. So here are a couple of bad photos taken at night. No face up, just his dark brown eyes and carrot wiggie.

nqa2nite, I saw a Vezeto on an herculean body on flickr, but I'm not sure about the neck as you can only see him from front.
Phanuel, I hope you have lot of patience and aren't too anxious. Spiritdoll is really bad at communicating with their customers and their shipping schedule is really long. :/
Tangier, great that you have finally found out who he was. He looks really nice, I love his wig ^^ About face up, what about just a nude makeup ? Enough to color his cheek and give him a less blank look, but not too much, to focus only on the mold and not the makeup ? That's what I did for mine as I didn't felt like having a really heavy painting ( though I really loved Dollclans'Vezeto ) covering this fascinating head.

Tangier, he looks awesome even without a face-up. I'd go with a very light natural face-up that just emphasizes his face and bone structure.
Nylh and Sharkyra - excellent suggestions! Yes, I think subtle would work best and should be easy enough for a non-artist like myself. I might try that with Rembrandt pencil and non-oil base chalk and maybe some eyelashes to match his wig if I can find them. The late nite photos I took have lots of noise, and they remind me of the darkish portraits of his period. Those folks looked pale and it was all about their eyes and costume, with long hair on the men and young girls. His clothing is gonna be so much fun to research!
I hope everyone posts a lot of pictures of their guys.

Sharkyra was supernice and let me adopt her Vezeto head and he arrived today! I'm in love! I don't have anything for him though, so he has to sit in his beautiful tin box and wait until I have taken care of my other newly arrived dollies. Seriously, I have sooo many dolls incoming this month and so little money for accessories, it's a shame.

Thank you for the lovely compliment on my photos (or thank Alejandro for emoting so well). And congratulations on getting this lovely boy! Mine arrived at least a month ago, and numerous wig and eye combinations just didn't speak. Love Dollclans' picture of Vezeto with that angsty look and those frosty brows and lashes, and I think I was stuck on that. Well, Alejandro finally grabbed the brown eyes and red wig and said "Look at me! This is who I am!". Also will keep him on the SpiritDoll Proud 2 body because his head fits the neck to perfection. If the Herculean has a larger neck, some reductive surgery would need to be done. Plus, Alejandro is a Twink - so this muscular but slimmer body suits him well.Originally Posted by Zomboid

I managed to get a Vezeto on the MP secondhand~ *dances around* I can't believe it!
I'll definitely be putting mine on a Spiritdoll Herculean.. but it will be a while before I can get the money for that up and running. Nevertheless I'm so excited!

Congrats, Gridbug, on scoring a Vezeto! Now the fun begins! These guys have so much personality and that profile, yeah, I agree with Nylh, he gets more fascinating the more you look at him. I am totally head over heels in love with my guy, and am feeling separation anxiety already becuz he has leave me to get a face up. I saw pics of Vezeto head on the Herclean body and it looks really good, very nice proportions, but Alejandro will keep the Proud 2 because he is used to it now (he stole it from Tacori, my Abies!). Only problem is I need to get another Proud 2 body. Good-bye tax return.
