Migidoll General Discussion - Part II

I thought Type A normal looked more... fleshy? I can't decide which Normal I should take. Seconding autreuno about which skintone matches Little Monica. I'd love to know! Hoping to get my Cho head soon!

Migidoll Normal Skin A (the pinky one) matches PERFECTLY with LittleMonica ^^ I have an LM Harmony Boy Body that I believe is from 2011 and various Migidoll heads from throughout 2011 and 2012 that match really great!

While I'm at it:
I have a NS 2011 Soom SuperGem that matches Migi and LM really well as well as a 2012 Soom SUperGem head that is the same color as the 2011 resin.

I also have a 2011 Luts Delf girl who is a significant shade darker...I hope this makes sense, the color between her and my Migidoll/LM hybrid are close but she is a shade or two darker. Wouldn't be a bad match but the others are better.

My friend has a Leekeworld head from 2011, it's actually pinker than Migi, also would not be a bad match but Soom and LittleMonica are closer.

And those are all the companies I have XD I recomend LM for a normal 63cm boy body for your Migi heads, I have also heard that Souldoll and Iplehouse are matches but that if you put a Migi head on an IH SID body you definately need to mod the neck for it to fit.

As far as girl bodies go, I just ordered a Luts SDF Noelia so I'll let you guys know if the new Type 2 SDF body can work with Migi, I really hope so!

//on a side note, I remember one of my friends saying Supia is an alright match for Migi but it's better once the resin has mellowed out after awhile, I think she said it was like an 80% match

QueenObvious, Thank you so much! I'm so relieved to know LM bodies are a match for Migidoll heads! It's also wonderful to know that Soom Supergem and Souldoll bodies are a match too! Now I have more options to choose from! I can't wait till my Cho head comes! I think I should start saving up for his body soon!

Dunno about Soom. I have Galena and Cass from 2011, both NS, and they definitely don't match any of my Migi's from any years.

WAIT SATYSMOON, is that a Migi/Granado female hybrid?! I was going crazy awhile back looking into if the two could be a match as far as fit and color go! I guess it's pretty good, right? Thanks! Also, I'm assuming your Migis are Type A Normal Skin?

I wanted to retouch West's faceup today and then I went and got flu so I think I'll leave it for next weekend... I don't want to mess it up while I'm feeling groggy! I'm going to try to lower his eyebrows a little, add some blushing to his eye area and cheeks and make his lips a bit pinker and darker. I got some proper dolly eyelashes too so I can replace the human ones now! I let him try on someone else's eyes and they ended up looking really nice, maybe I should get him some too! His birthday is on Wednesday, maybe I should get him a new wig since this one keeps sticking out at funny angles

I own a Ryu and he has (for now) 16mm eyes. I prefer the 14mm eyes though, so I'm going to change that quickly when I have money. My other boy, migidoll Miho, will get 14mm eyes as well as soon as he arrives. And a friend of mine has for all her migidoll boys also 14mm eyes

Depends on the sculpt. I use 12mm for my Ryu and 14mm for my Miho. I had 14mms in my Jina when I had her as well.

EDIT, My Jina actually had 12mm eyes. Sorry for the wrong info. All of those sizes were Hand Craft Glass from Saffrindoll.

My Jina has 12mm Eyeco soft eyes. They are nice to position because they squish right up against the eyewells-no gaps

I'm finally jumping in here. I have a Ryu head from 2008 but thanks to some yellowing I don't have a body for him. Maybe the MP for that? But I'm ordering Ryu again (hopefully) when the new order period opens. I love him so much I want another. And now with Mu it looks like I'll be ordering a floating head. Maybe order Mu so I can get the freebies then order Ryu as the floater.... I don't know yet.

Hi EmbracedLight - I have a Ryu head from @ then as well, and he was a perfect match for any of the Volks SD13 bodies floating around at the time. Don't know if you like that particular body, but Ryu never met an older Volks SD13 that he didn't look good on.

Hello Migidoll fans.

I'm not familiar with Migidoll, but I'm really liking their gentle faces. Especially the sleeping ones. There are a couple of sleeping dolls under what is known as "M.D. Choice". Does anyone know what "M.D. Choice" means? I've tried searching the net for a meaning, but have come up with nothing.

I'd like to get a sleeping head, or are they discontinued? I was thinking M.D. Choice stands for Monthly Doll Choice, and they are released for a small period every month. But I really don't know.

Anyone shedding of the light on this little mystery would be appreciated.

Migidoll doesn't do monthly sales periods so M.D. probably just stands for Migidoll. Migidoll's Choice I assume is like their personal favs. Or it could just be a way to put more things up on the front page that aren't necessarily "new" or "best" sellers. XD

I doubt the sleeping/cynical heads are discontinued. They're just not being offered this sales period.

Migidoll is still on the smaller side of doll companies so instead of having all their molds available all the time they have a sales periods offering some of them every few months. I'm not sure how they decide which molds they're going to sell. Maybe if you drop a note saying you're hoping to get a sleeping head next time they'll put 'em in the rotation.

I've recently kinda fallen for that Cynical Yujin, can't believe I never noticed him before. Can't wait to see owner pics of Mu too he reminds me of Miho a little.
