Spiritdoll Herculean Line Discussion

I used to not be all that interested in Spiritdoll, then I wanted those new Innocent Tinies and now I am contemplating getting Cedar to be Niccolo's big buff best friend. Was thinking of the Iplehouse EID bodiess, but the Spiritdoll Herculean's sculpt is more visually appealing to me and a little taller.

Now to work on the saving up part and hoping Spiritdoll's communication gets a little better... and maybe lifting some weights! I think the Super Senior Delf body is pretty heavy and Spiritdoll Cedar is bigger!

...well, I've been lugging the portfolio that is only one foot shorter than I am tall and it's heavy due to it's unwieldiness... I got stuck in a doorway leaving class.

I have Proud jointed hands and I think it won't work on Herculean. Proud hands are smaller than Herculean's. ^^'

OMG... I just read that spiritdoll.net will be closing down their site on May 1...I inquired and they mention that we will still be able to order but no specifics as to where and how after May 1.... anyone have any additional information??

About the recent shutdown announcement on the message board

Dear all,

We have found that there was a message on the message board saying that we are going to close the website. This is NOT an offical announcement, please do not believe it. We apologize for the recent slow repsonse of the customer service but all the orders are being processed. Due to the short labour in the casting department, the orders will take more processing time, however, we will not close our website and we are not in any debt problem.

We would put out any official announcement on our home page rather than just a message on the message board.

I'm sorry I know this not a place for asking questions concerning White Queen but I couldn't find her thread. Pls could anybody show me or write how to change her feet ? I'm affraid it's too complicated

Christie, I have IDealians and both of EIDs bodies. I'll make sure to write a review (if no one else does it before me) once I get the body o.o At least they confirmed my order as "Paid" and said they'd give me a shipping tracking (I'm yet to believe his but oh well... ).

So happy... I have my Cedar on layaway... thanks to Carmen for being such an amazing help... Spiritdoll even communicated with me via email and on the board... confirmed my payment! WOW! Can this be a turning point with Spiritdoll, I literally almost changed my mind after reading so many negative comments about the company so I actually waited even almost changed my mind.... oh well, now on to waiting....

Now it's just impatient waiting for me. It's been ages since I last ordered anything from a company directly.

I'm happy to hear you received some sort of communication from them, I truly hope they remain consistent...Once again, I heard the average turn around after final payment is around 55days...I suppose ordering a face up vs. a blank doll can affect shipping times...can anyone confirm...?

I didn't get any emails but my status is now 'paid' as well so I'm feeling pretty good about this all.
And Nightraven, I don't know Spirit specifically but at least with other companies it usually adds 2 weeks or so to the waiting time, so I suppose it's the same with them as well.

Hey Ibilintu, really happy they've updated your status....as for me, I've ordered my Cedar without a face up as I have a character in mind but still 55 days combined with layaway payments it all seems like a lifetime of waiting...lol....really can't wait to start seeing some owner pic's.....

Oh man thanks to raykit's pictures of Vezeto on the Herculean body, I'm now majorly in love with that combination! At first I wasn't so sure because of the broad neck ,but with a wig it would work I think. I'm not much worried about the weight of the Herculean, because after the Granado body, every other doll (including the Proud) is a lightweight lol.

As for shipping times: I had a Proud body on layaway and finished paying it off on 9 March, got a shipping notice on May 4 (with a non-working tracking number) and he arrived on May 7 (yeah, only three days!!). So the average waiting time after paying seems to be around two months atm. Spiritdoll seems to finally acknowledge their communication problems (I had no confirmation or email responses for almost three months), let's hope they'll better themselves!
Oh and about the option parts...I found them quite annoying with the Proud body, the magnets are so weak and they get lost constantly. My Abies is now a castrate.

Man I thought that body was light. And he wears what my DOD wears, no problem at all.

Spiritdoll did indeed correct their communication issues. They even sent me an email regarding the shipping of my Herculean body X3 Can't wait!!! I'll just get the body but will try an IDealian head and an EID head on it for comparison purposes.
