Hey, guys. Just wanted to let you know that I managed to do a temporary patch on my girl. Here's what she looks like now!



And if you want to see a "before," you can click here. It's not a perfect fix, but it's not noticeable unless you're looking really close, so I'm happy enough leaving it this way until I decide to give her a completely new face up. I also did a quick "here's how I did it!" on my blog if you're curious!

Thank you so much, guys. I'm pretty amazed by how well it turned out. I'm still fairly new to doing face up work (though I love it), so I was afraid of the results. My roomie's big Iple boy took a tumble and hit his face on some of our photography equipment and chipped his lip not too long ago, and now she wants me to fix his too, lol.

And I think my HD Pie has told me her name . . . It will likely be Prudence - Pru for short. I will try to get pictures once I finish grading exams . . .

Prudence is such an adorable name. I love the idea of "Pru" as a nickname, too! I can't wait to see pics.

i usually do a search for "yo-sd" sized and that has so far been a good fit for my tiera and my littlefees. littlefee stuff fits well too. they are extremely close in size! bid's and deardoll's clothes are too big, but they are hard to find anyway.

Clothing: HDFs can wear a lot of 1/6 sized clothing. (But Volks YoSD jeans will probably be too big)
In general, the Volks Yo sized stuff that I have fit pretty well. A little loose, as Volks dolls are a bit chubbier.
Kotori is wearing a Leeke dress in this photo. It fits pretty good.

spensers_mom, congrats on the lovely name for your Pie! I'm looking forward to Prudence's photos when you have time to take them!

zomjirate, I'm pretty sure they can wear a lot of outfits. So far, my boy fits all the outfits I bought from various BJD stores but unfortunately, I don't have a soom clothing for comparison, so maybe some one else can help you on that. But I'd think they'll fit unless the outfit you are looking at is tight-fitting or something of the sort.

CathyM, that's a lovely dress for Kotori! I don't even know it was a Leeke dress but it's so cute on Kotori (who of course is a cutie too!)

honey delfs do seem to be one of the smaller "yo-sd" sized dolls. and it's a lot easier to take stuff in than to let it out! if you are unsure though, ask for the chest/waist size from the vendor and then you can check against luts' measurements to see if it will fit.

I haven't had any issues with finding clothes that fit my girl xD She doesn't have many outfits, but everything I've come across fits pretty well and I think kids wear clothes a little on the big side anyway. Or it could just be me lol my son grows so fast, I buy him clothes that are a bit big ^^;
