baongoc80101: May I ask, if you can see, what the shipping date was on the label for your doll?　I'm curious about actual ship-dates, since it should not have taken that long, even in the holiday rush. Thank you!

The postage date is 11/17/2011. I believe the package arrive 11/19/11. I was out of town when it arrived and the package was waiting outside when I get back on 11/20/11. Best regards!

As it turns out, my package was also on the way. The Doll arrived this afternoon. He was shipped in a doll box, but with only a pillow as padding. There was no bubble-wrap or padding around the doll box. It was only wrapped with brown paper and shipped with a few fragile stamps on it.

Consequently, a piece of his headcap broke. I super-glued it back, and it'll be fine, but he was not properly padded for shipping. He and I　both are lucky he didn't suffer any more damage. He arrived dirty, and despite the face shield (that was not rubber banded on), his face was dirty, and his nose had a bang-smudge on the tip. No physical damage that I can see, thank goodness.

On the plus side, he arrived with an extra set of clothes I wasn't expecting, he arrived strung rather than unstrung so I didn't have to restring him, and everything else I asked for was included.

The post date was 17 November, so if anybody else is still missing their stuff, keep your eyes on the Post. I hope it all works out for you, as well!

Luckily it looks like everything is going to be resolved, aside from some damage. I haven't received my package yet but I presume it was shipped on the same date so it's just a matter of time. I will tell you when I receive it.

hello~ my doll arrived yesterday. He is in pretty good conditions aside a little scratch on the tip of his nose (but nothing too serious), despite it wasn't well-packed enough to withstand shipping.
They put also some nice gifts in the package.
So for me the transaction is resolved. I hope the same goes for everyone else here and good luck for who is already dealing with this situation.

That was probably when I pm'ed Decy. I need to contact Decy regarding the extra set of hands that I still have not received. I have contacted paypal, which has refunded my money. Even though my issue has not resolved yet, I am not sure what I need to do next.

It seems like everyone is getting their stuff. I hope the situation resolves for everyone soon.

After noticing decy has been active outside of DOA, I just sent the following message:


"Hi, decy,

I bought a switch wig from you months and months ago. Since then, your husband has been on DOA to say that you were critically ill, getting treatment on the other side of the country, etc.

However, you were on DOA on December 25 and since then have been active on your youtube account, facebook, etc. Whether this was you or your husband is irrelevant-- if either of you have time for entertainment, you have time to make good on your obligations.

Please contact me immediately to resolve the issue regarding the wig.

Decy has not returned as of 25DEC11.

Well, at this point it's been 298 days since I bought a wig from Decy. I've sent numerous PMs, emailed her paypal address, etc. and have heard nothing since the communications with her husband Sandy many months ago. I have to admit that given the number of people who fall mysteriously ill in transaction threads, I was dubious about Decy's condition, but I was willing to give her the benefit of the doubt. But honestly I am tired of waiting.

I decided that I would exhaust any means possible to contact her before giving up, short of driving up to Silverdale/Bremerton/Seattle. So today I did an exhaustive internet search and found that although she hasn't been on DOA since December 25th, she has been online elsewhere in the past few months. So I don't think she's ill anymore, at least not so ill that she couldn't contact me.


I also paid for a public records search for her (no phone number) and her husband (phone number, but different address) but I didn't want to bother them in case her husband was grieving her possible death. In his earlier communications he had said Decy was so critically ill that he had to take her across country to a different hospital. As that sounds pretty extreme, I thought her death might have been a sad possibility (unlikely considering the continuing online posts, but still possible). And if that were the case, obviously I wasn't going to bother him.

But she's not dead. Not according to obituary aggregator sites.

And his phone just rings.

So I give up. I'm not going to waste any more of my time, or continue to throw good money after bad trying to reach a deadbeat/possible thief. <-- because yes, at this point in time I consider my money to have been stolen.

If she ever comes back onto DOA I would warn people not to deal with her, however.
