I am so excited about this new body. I really loved the SD17 body! Just amazing sculpting and posing ability! But i like bodies that are a little bit more buff, so i think this new body is the perfect blend! Volks tends to make timeless dolls that still remain relevant in a crowd with competitors, i think. The Sd17 body was released a long time ago, but it is still very popular and one of the best male bodies i have ever seen or handled.

Has anyone else seen this post on the Volks VIP Blog? I'm trying to understand what it says, but my translating tool isn't doing me much good.... I did however read something about Yukinojo

It is the announcement of SD GOU monitoring program.
So it won't be officially released in DP26. But people can apply to exam the body, get it at DP26, keep it for 1 week and give Volks feedbacks in a meeting after.

I hope my understanding is correct.

If so, I wonder if Yukinojo is a newly sculpted head and will look very different from previous? I think it's probably a new sculpt although looking similar to the old one.

I'm sorry, but where do you see that news? I read something about Yukinojo, but in SDGou article... Didn't see anything about an SD17 Yukinojo though

Anthony : No news, I was just speculating... Since everyone says Yukinojo hasn't been rereleased in ages... but so does Tsukasa and Ryoya for that matter! XD

The only thing it says about Yukinojo is that people from all over the world have been asking for a manly body from Volks since Yukinojo sold out, and Volks is now, six years later, finally able to respond.

Yeah, definitely won't be released at Dolpa 26, as that's where monitors will pick the bodies up . . .

So it's a prototype that may or may not be mass produced I guess.

Sounds like they want feedback before they go into production, seems like a nice measure to me. So many dolls come out that look great but have wonky posing or jointing issues. The SD16, SD17 and SDGr are my favorite boy types so I have high expectations for this SDGou. I'd love to be a moniter. @___@

Still hoping the nech size will allow for interchange with other boys head, I want this body for my Tony. Like whoa.

I'd love to monitor one, too, but of course it's impossible. XD But even so, it means we'll get plenty of feedbacks, maybe photos from the ones who are able to bring the bodies home to test. I want to see the joints clearly. If there's no torso joint, then I'm out. D: I like a body that can do all... and that means double jointed. >.>

Finally I can find something about SDGou, I read today the news, and hoping to arrive home to be able to search for it hehehe.
A new body from Volks... It looks great, I am not into muscular bodies, but I think it will be very beautiful.
I will wait to see more pictures.
