Saw news of the release of the new sdgov bod somewhere and thought of checking it out here. Apparently a character from the Tokyo boys series will be released on a new sdgov body.

SDgov . . . hoo boy. That may interfere with some plans. I wonder how tall he'll be? And if he's Tokyo Boys, "Joe" really is the logical choice.
This is a development I will need to watch before I continue with any of my mapped out doll plans. Volks never did another SD16 boy after the Dollzone incident, perhaps this is their update? It is a good body type for my coddled, mature, kept-guy Lex who is currently a Tony head on an SD16.
I hope he is not too tall and can share clothing with SD16 and SD17 a bit.
Is it confirmed he will be released at the Tokyo Dolpa or is it speculative? I am so excited I can't read!

Wow, what a gorgeous body. And a doll no less lol I cannot read a lick of what anything says but now I am so curious. I do not collect boys but doesnt mean I cannot oogle. I wish Volks would give us teaser picks for each dolpa.
How would that even be possible when the Tokyo Boys story is all 60cm+ dolls? A muscular mini-scaled doll wouldn't make sense.

I have to agree with St. James. I think if this is indeed a new Volks body they are going to be big boys in the SD-17 range.They are quite muscular so I am really surprised that Volks would make such a buff body. This body looks more in line with the beefy Iplehouse boys.
Ooooooh dear... that new body looks like it might be putting a kink in my current plans.If it is a Yukinojo re-realease I think I will be simultaneously overjoyed and overwhelmed. *headdesk* God, I hope he's not over 70cm. Something in line with their current SD16 and SD17 boys lines would be brilliant!
Looks like I'll be keeping this second job for a while longer.

Daris thanks for that fab photo. I can now see that it is definitely a new Volks body. It has me wondering if they will do yet another girl body. I love the definition in the arms. I may have to get a boy if he is gonna look that wonderful. He would only need a pair of jeans, because sculpting that good deserves to be shown.
