Hello everyone! I j ust got my first DDoll few weeks ago, I traded her to another doll. My little lady is Misora and her name is Aino. For some reason the pictures are not working so I'll give you a picture of her a little later. I love the doll, the body and the sculpt. The only thing that bothers me is that the head is really small... And her legs are somehow really masculine. But then again all my girls are quite slim and petite so this more grown up body is a bit new to me.

I also loved all of your pictures of your beautiful dolls! The pictures are always the best part

Here's the latest on my Little Elva Hiro, Blake (with Frei, as always ):

I visited ddollshop and noticed that Hiro is once again available! (I remember someone asking when he'll be restocked) Hopefully my Blake won't be the only Little Elva boy spamming this thread. ♥

Yessssss...Hiro! I've been waiting for the restock, he's perfect for a character of mine. Quick question, though. I have a DD Lia, and I love her, but I've noticed one of her eyes is a little bigger than the other. It doesn't bother me too much, with her face-up and wig it isn't too noticeable and she's still adorable. For those of you with Hiro, or who have seen him in person -- are there any similar issues with his eyes, like asymmetry or uneveness? I'll still get him regardless but I want to be prepared.

My Blake is not noticeably asymmetrical, but maintaining his eyes can drive one crazy! The eyewells are naturally wall-eyed, so you'll have to be patient with eye placement (best put it ever so slightly cross-eyed.) Also, low-domed only, unless you're fine with massive gapping. The resin around his eyes are thick, don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but it certainly requires a different approach with face-up.

Also, generally speaking, Hiro's features are sharper in person than his company photos (sharper nose, sharper jawline, etc.). I love that it made him noticeably older than my KDF boy, but it might not be other people's cup of tea, so yeah, warning.

Hope you push through with adopting a Hiro! ♥

She's lovely! I've always loved the all-white look. So glad to see another Misora - that's the beauty I plan on getting too

Does anyone have Naomi? I think she is adorable but sadly seems ignored She was actually going to be the one I would purchase in the future, but she reminds me too much of my Nabiya so I decided on Misora instead. I'd love to see some owner photos of her though.

Hey guys, wondering if anyone has done a fairyland / Dreaming Doll Hybrid? I'm looking to mash a Lia head on a MNF Body? Wondering if resin matches?

@sdrcow: Well, I don't have a DDoll/MNF hybrid, but I have seen MNF's and Little Elva girls (specif. Airi's) and have this unedited picture to offer and some observations:


~ Resin match is not perfect, MNF is darker than DDoll (But at least it's closer than Luts-to-MNF). I'd say it can be fixed by face-up.
~ DDoll necks are noticeably thicker than MNF. Plus, the neck-hole of DDoll head is rather deep (the DDoll's neck is longer too) and may need a little filling out to look better.
~ Possible bobblehead effect. Aside from the slim MNF neck mentioned, the height difference (41cm vs 42cm I think) and shoulder difference (8cm vs 9cm) can also cause slight bobblehead effect.

I've seen a good KDFhead/MNFbody hybrid and believe that, with good effort, a DDoll/MNF hybrid can be done as well. ^_^

I browsed flickr once for Dreaming Doll vs. MNF comparison photos and I found this. It's informative in regard to propotions... except I believe that the Vampire Elf Chloe is smaller than regular MNF heads. And I agree with yldenfrei, the resin match with DDoll and Fairyland normal skin would not be very good. From what I've seen, DDoll's is quite pale and ivory-ish while FL's normal skin is dark and more peachy (in my personal experience, anyway). I don't know about white skin match, though...

I have ordered Airi a few weeks ago and I'm eagerly waiting for her to arrive. ^^ Hopefully she'll ship soon and I can join this thread with some photos of my girl~ .LiS., I just love your girl! She's one of the reasons why I chose to get Airi.

Few days ago, my stupid cat (which I love very much) pushed my ddollshop Misora from a balcony. She fall 2,5m down on pavement. My heart stopped. But, fortunately, the only damage was a left hand's broken finger. I wrote to Ddollshop team to ask if they could send me new pair of hands by airmail, because ems is extremely expensive (hands price: 9$, ems: 21$). They replied me that no payments at all are required and today I've got my tracking number.
That's what 'brilliant customer service' means!
