Zaoll Discussion Thread - Part three!

Okay, that was VERY successful. I think the match is perfect. The Luv head fits perfectly on the Adam neck, it rolls nicely.
This is the finished look (obviously mine makes a very girly boy XD) :

As you can see the difference in resin color isn't really noticeable at all, in natural bright light or indoor lighting. My Zaoll might be very slightly more yellow than the Adam, but hey she is a year old. I think with the faceup especially, you wouldn't notice. Actually the head I have on my adam is a Iplehouse and he is not as close or as good a match as the Zaoll.
My Zaoll's hubby was a little disturbed by his woman turned man though XD, poor guy.

Me had my horrid reading (sorry!) xD , and it's only natural that the skin colour is that close since Dollmore casts both the Zaoll and the Adam :3

okay so i have a predicament facing me, i love zaoll's hands and how they are sculpted but sometimes they're too.. static? so i've been looking into getting jointed hands for my boys and i just need you guys' help on some things.

i heard that people usually just have dika doll's jointed hands for their zaolls and i just want to know

1) what type of resin should it be? my bet is it being normal pink, because zaolls do have this pinkish tinge to them when they're new. i just want to be sure haha

and

2) what size should it be in? msd or sd13..

i'm soo sorry if these questions has been asked before but i just want to be sure before spending some money on jointed hand ; 0;

also if you have jointed hands for your zaoll yourself it'll be cool if you showed pictures and what not!

bulgolgi, Hi) Seems to take for sd normal pink. For the yellowed zaoll don't know =( May be you can try normal yellow. Or take any of them, and align it with the color zaoll. I'm not sure about color >_>

I have dollfamily jointed hands that would probably work, however they are a little too pink.
As far as size, you would definitely want the SD.

Saibi: Actually I have heard that Zaoll is cast with a different resin than Dollmore's other dolls...but I don't know, it looks pretty much the same from what I can see.

I have pink girl sd dika doll hands for my boy zaoll it's a little too pink though but he wears long sleeves a lot. I got him this year and the hands secondhand from the marketplace. I can take pictures of the resin comparison if you'd like.

Thank you for the suggestions about boy bodies for the pinky-normal skin. I am currently "baking" my dreaming Luv Zaoll in the sun to hasten the loss of pink colouring. It really doesn't take much sun to get this resin non-pink!

I'm thinking the Adam body is the way to go, and discrepancy can be concealed by judicious blushing. If only both head and body were offered in WS. *sigh*
