Zaoll Discussion Thread - Part three!

I love the zaoll hands personally, but I do find them a little limiting as far as posing with props, so I have a jointed pair ordered for Knox, speaking of Knox...
we were hanging out at the school next to my house yesterday

I kind of miss my Ramie right now. I left her at home and am back at college to finish up the semester. Even after the faceup my brain still registers her as male so I will probably mod her at some point. Some nondescript photos of that horrible faceup!

Hello all! Forgive me if this question has been asked and I missed it. I was wondering if there was a thread that compared clothes/shoes/wigs that best fit zaolls?
I dipped my toe in the zaoll pool once before with a muse but ended up selling her. I love luvs (lol) and want to try again soon. But of course I want to know what works best for them...that was the big issue with my muse..not being sure where to start was a little overwhelming seeing as their size is a little on the odd side. Thanks!

BellaMorte I'm not sure if there is a thread...but generally I find your safe with small sd sized clothes. Dollmore sells a little bit of stuff specifically for zaolls and I'm not 100% sure but I think they will shorten sd pants for you if you ask. There are also a couple sellers on esty and in the marketplace that have zaoll sized stuff if you search for it. You can also sometimes get away with msd shirts if they're a little big, personally I love the msd boys shirts from nine9 that's what Knox is wearing if you go up a couple posts ^^
The general rule of thumb I follow for them is sd pants, small sd or large msd shirts. Hope that helps

Also BellaMorte it is best to go with SD clothes. When I ordered my Ramie from Dollmore, I asked them to shorten the SD pants I ordered and as far as I can tell, they did it. I haven't tested the pants on my SD boy though. My only size related problem was shoes. I ordered MSD boots, but I figured they would fit fine when I compared the measurements with the Zaoll feet. So all would be good, right? WRONG! It took me like 15-30 minutes to get the boots on. The zipper just would not go up on the right foot! (I often have problems with my own right foot and shoes o_o I decided those boots are NOT coming off until I get new ones. I feel bad for squishing my doll's feet into them... but... yeah... I suppose SD shoes would be your best bet too unless you know they're huge for their category.

For wigs, I looked for 7-8 wigs, I think those work fine.

My zaoll wears all the same shoes as my Iplehouse YID girl, so yes, they wear SD shoes.

I don't remember where I got the boots, but my zaoll is wearing a pair of oversized msd goth-ish boots. It's been tough for me finding a pair of boy style shoes that fit a girl sd

Some Dollmore MSD shoes fit, I've found Luts MSD shoes fit...just the boys styles for both, like sneakers and boots. I've never tried the girls...My poor girl doesn't have any shoes, she borrows from my roommate. I am so afraid of getting some for her and not having them fit....none of my other girls would wear them!

I'm mostly using sneakers bought from Mimmiwoo and Releaserain over at ebay
they usually have the measurements written on the sales page so one can easily find shoes that fits..

Well as a update the custom zaoll clothing and shoes I bought from Alice's Collection are shipping. yay
Also i added some little things to bellatrix( I made her a bonnet didn't turn out so well so no pictures of that). I also was able to get my msd girls alice dress on her but it will not zip in the back. But she looks so cute ill post some pics mabey tomorrow. Sorry for large pic not sure how to down size
