Zaoll Discussion Thread - Part three!

So many gorgeous Zaolls!! Went through the entire thread and I have just one question about the Luv sculpt--can someone please tell me how long her face is from eyebrow level to chin level? I am trying so hard to find a suitable match for my Latidoll Aida--who has a very small head. Not just small--short in the face area from eyebrow to chin. So even if I get the circumference similar I have to consider this measurement as well--or it just looks off somehow.

My zaoll luv is exactly on the 4cm make from eyebrow to chin. Hope that helps

I think there heads are quite small.. there eyes are yo-sd size.. and there head msd..

I bought my girl this bag to go with her outfit.. She's a maill messenger anyway.

Thank you so much for the measurements and info. 4 cm will definitely work--think I'll be ordering a Zaoll soon. She's very delicate and petite which was what I want and she looks old enough to actually be Aida's girlfriend.

What hands would fit a white Luv? I've been considering getting Epifania another set of hands if I can't get the moxie to mod her hands or just to have more hand poses. My boyfriend thinks Epifania's hands are too large, but I think they're fine.

Though I also want to get some high heeled feet, which ones fit? Though I think resin match is slightly less important on the feet since I'm not much interested in sandals.

Do it! I wiped two of my LEs and I was kind of freaked out and teary-eyed, but I really do love their new faceups so much more.

She's already so pretty with her default though <3

I've very recently become aware of this beauty. Of course I knew Zaoll existed, but it wasn't until I saw her with a custom face-up that made her look like a teenager that I realised how perfect she'd look for one of my characters. Only problem is that she is a bit too tall compared to the dolls I've planned for the characters of her friends. Would it even be possible to hybridize her as an MSD? As Amber-Kyou mentioned, her head is fairly small. But original body has a 9 cm neck circumferance, so the neck hole must be huge. Has anyone ever tried to put her head on a MSD body at all? How bad was it?

her head is small, but her face is large, and much more proportionate with SD sized dolls...because her features are so large she would still look very bobbled on a smaller body. Zaoll necks are pretty big too, they look bigger than Adam/Eve necks (Dollmore's SD sized dolls). I'm still trying to decide if I want to sand the neck on my hybrid...the Eve head looks good, but sometimes I think the neck is too big.

Tigerheart I was trying my muse's head on my JID body last night (trust me the way he's modded you don't want to see it), I'm going to say it's possible, not easy, but possible. The neck would need modding for sure, because of the huge neck hole it sits too far down on the neck that would need to be closed up so that the head sits higher. I would also switch the hands and feet for sd size. That's what I did with my JID hybrid girl.
The only thing is I don't think she would work with other msds. I don't know for sure because the only msds I have to compare too are my modded girl, and a slim msd (who obviously isn't in scale with the others). I'm actually considering getting an alex doll and putting a zaoll head on it, because I love the short curvy body, but I'm not a fan of the alex head.
Long story short, I think it can work, but it creates an odd sized doll who doesn't really work with msds, and doesn't really work with regular sds, but works really well with smaller odd sized sds like other zaolls (kind of defeating the purpose).
