IMPL dolls 64cm Star line and 58cm Model line Discussion thread Part II

Hi All! Can anyone tell me if the Impldoll girl's Star body is a good size match for a minimee head? I have an Scarlett Johannsen head that needs a body. Color wise, I think the NS will work as the head is a pale yellow, but I'm concerned about proportion.

Hi All! Can anyone tell me if the Impldoll girl's Star body is a good size match for a minimee head? I have an Scarlett Johannsen head that needs a body.

I only have one Minimee head (female from 2006) and it has a very large neckhole, plus the head itself is pretty big. I think the Star body's neck is too small and her shoulders are too narrow. The Star bodies make excellent bodies for Soom, Dollmore and Elfdoll heads, which tend to be smaller, I think. I bought a Granado Nuevo female body for my head and I'm still having to raise the head on the neck a bit. Dunno if Minimee heads have changed since then, but that's my experience with my one.

I'm looking to make a hybrid with an Elfdoll head.. x-x I was wondering if ImPl real skin would match the ED's.
I'm quite sure I may get a chance with normal pink skintone, but what about real? Is there anyone here who could help me a bit?

Hey Elnuyn85 -- are you looking to match ED homme with Impl real? Or some other combo? I once had a hybrid of my own on an Impl real body, I simply blushed the normal resin skin of elfdoll a little darker and more yellow to match. I know there is another resin matching thread around here somewhere specifically about homme + real skin with these two companies.

But here is the general Impl resin matching thread.

Hope that can help you out! I will say that from my own experience Impl model bodies work beautifully for Elfdoll hybrids.

OT for this thread but for an Elfdoll hybrid I'd recommend you look at this thread Elnuyn85
Elfdoll + miroDoll works in resin color and scale

But I will always recommend Elfdoll + Impldoll Model body for a great doll as well

hi everyone, wow havent been to this thread in ages. i just saw the preview photos of the new idol gladiator which is planned, he has a really lovely beard and is manly! so im looking forward to more on him soon. im also looking forward to seeing the new idol female range which also has a preview photo too. just waiting to see the head sculpts that impldoll release for the girl, although depending on neck size impldoll is easy to hybrid so that could be good too.
a big congrats to those who have new dolls and i will be back when there are more updates on the gladiator! lol
