I've steered away from the bigger dolls lately, but I just wanted to say how beautiful this one is. My first thought was Delirium from the Sandman comic series, especially with the wig styled the way you have it. She's so expressive...but alas, so large for my current lineup.

chizzie_shark, yes I am looking to make a larger bust piece when I get a chance.

Teruchan, her neck is 10.2cm so a smaller body would be possible but needs a large neck.

Yukamina, I mostly use SmoothOn resin but am testing other types too.

Thanks for all the lovely compliments from everyone, too!!

Twigling, do you already have another sculpt in the works that would be ready before the next Ingenue order period? What is the chance she will be offered again before the year is out? I know you said that if you complete another sculpt, then she will be offered and not Ingenue. But Ingenue WILL be offered again....right?

I really, REALLY hope so. I would love to order one right away, but I would lovelovelove an artist cast instead of a procast, I just can't afford one right now unless I have an extended layaway. :c

Yuu-Hanabusa, I've had quite a few artisan cast orders already, so I am about to close the list (temporarily) so that I can catch up. As I will be busy with casting I'm not sure I will get another head ready for the next order but if I do I will consider offering both heads. Ingenue will be offered again.

Just put in my order for a procast Ingenue...so excited!!!! Her sister can't wait for her to arrive, and I'm so happy I was able to find a doll that was taller then my F65 & that fit my character's physical features especially since she is supposed to be around 6 foot tall & athletic

When she is offered again, you will offer artist casts too, right? I know that the preorders come around when the procasts are in transit from Dollshe to you which should be a few months, by that time do you think you should be caught up with artist casts? *hopeful hopeful* Will each preorder be a month?Sorry for bombarding you with questions! n_n""

I think I have artist casts to keep me busy till Christmas, so I'd open the list again in the new year. It could be sooner, depending on weather and suppliers. The list isn't technically closed yet so you could place your order now if you think you'll have a deposit saved up by December or so.

Procast preorders would be open around a month each time.

Gulp, well I did it, just filled out the order form for an artist cast. Because of the resin color. Dollshe just doesn't have what I envision for her. And here I told myself no more dolls this year. Famous last words! But she is just soooo special. Plus I have some big guys so she should fit right in. Tho I suppose at some point she'll be wanting an Idealian for a mate; I can already see that coming. . .

Got your order, thanks Maybe I'll just help you with the "no more dolls this year" by not making her till January 2012 And yeah... expensive dolls do ask for expensive friends, don't they...

I think she's wonderful! Her body is so beautiful and expressive, and I love how elfin her face is. I don't think I can get her this time around, but I'm happy she isn't limited--maybe I can buy her the next time she's offered. She seems very special.

Twigling, I don't think I could by Christmas. :c But I will savesavesave until the artist casts are offers again! *determined face* Do you know about when Dollshe will try the UV protectant? Not this order, but maybe next time? Or am I too hopeful?

Well, you are so helpful, aren't you? Seriously tho, when I placed that order I knew you were already backed up. So I won't be screaming about being down on the list; I'm easy <g>. She's gonna be beautiful tho. I'm pretty excited!

I love how multicultural the blank head looks; she could be so many different characters. The sample-faceup though, makes me think of an adult LTF Ante.

The feet are really neat, too.

Was doing some resin testing today, so I took a picture or two of my Ingenue and a miscast test-tan head:

By the way, thanks to all the orders so far we have filled Dollshe's minimum order requirement already, so the order is definitely going ahead. I'll be sending out the deposit invoices tonight, but I didn't want to jump the gun and do it before I knew the order was going to go ahead.

It's exactly that I found so amazing about her. Not just in terms of culture, but her face could suit the ideal of so many eras very nicely. She leapt out at me as being ideal for an odd concept I wanted to try for a while now: the ghost of a sweet, somewhat timid silent film star. (Something along the lines of this.)

twigling- Will you definitely be releasing her again in the future with a larger bust? If its not definite then I'll order one now to save missing out on her. Shes got such a wonderful face <3 If she will definitely be released in the future with a larger bust then i'll more than likely wait.

pendrithgirl, I will release her again, and most likely with an optional larger bust, if not the next thime then the time after that.

Love hearing everyone's ideas and what you see in her..

surreality, I think that picture is almost the epitome of "ingenue"

Ingenue is simply wonderful I tend to prefer smaller SD's but I'm definitely considering adding Ingenue to my herd. Thanks goodness for layaway!
