I'm getting my first Dollmore Kid doll (well only head) this week and I was wondering which eyes would suite her best 12mm or 14mm? She is Pado sculpt so her eyes are quite small I guess... So which would you suggest? Are the 12mm way too small?
i'm so excited about this girl She is going to be my little punk rock girl, lets see how she suites among my other little ladies :P

Kosuke wears 12s. He's supposed to represent an older teen, and I've found these give him a bit more attitude than when I had him in the 14s. (He's got such an innocent faceup!) Some 12s run bigger than others for the whites, so not all will work. Mostly they're fine though. They can be a little gappy, but I've actually had worse problems with really high domed acrylic 14s.

So, I got some bad news today. I have to quit my job due to the fact they switched the ownership and the new owner is evil incarnate, but that means---i have to put a hold on Aria's revamping. I think I might try my hand at customizing her myself: sanding, modding, faceup and the works!! Can I get some Dollmore Kid spam?

I got one of the special edition Zirconmermais Fer's this weekend at the doll meet. It is SD size but i added a ribbon to the back to it laces up to make it a little more snug so my Paran can wear it till i get a girl big enough for it. The ribbon is put on in a way to not damage the fabric at all. Here is a photo of my kid in the new dress for you. I hope you can find a new job quickly and if and when you do the mods for yours they turn out amazing and exactly like you hoped.

So, I decided that after 2 years of back and forth on this topic, I'm finally reshelling my Aria and moving forward in my project for her. I have a couple of potentials for her set but I also have a new idea of another Dollmore Kid. I'm thinking a tanned Asha or Momo hybrid for this character. Can I get some spam of each please?

Hello Dollmore fans!

So I made the mistake of looking around the DM site, and stumbled onto Veronica Violet (Pado)'s page. I normally avoid MSDs with less mature bodies, but when I saw the closeup of her face, I was like... She is incredible...I find it hard to believe that she's been on sale for 2 months now since she is an LE of only 10! And I'm extremely curious as to why she is so cheap for a fullset! Am I missing something here? I did a little research and discovered Dollmore only offers layaway for orders that total over $600, is this the reason? Are DM Kid bodies terribly unposeable? I must know!

Hey guys! It's been a while since I've popped in here (or been active on DoA in general, whoops), but I figured it couldn't hurt to try and help Venetica out

Pados are pretty much one of my favourite sculpts ever, which is why my first doll purchase was a Pado (suntan and male, but hey, a Pado all the same). Love their faces!

About the bodies, I dug up these pretty old posing pictures I took in one of the old discussion threads. Thought it might help give somewhat of an idea of how the posing is.
This post and this post. And there's probably more from other people if you dig around.

Their elbows are double jointed and I've never had a problem posing them. I love their slouch and he stands like a rock. The only issue I've had with the Dollmore kid body is the fact that the knees are only single jointed and so they're fairly limited in what they can do. I've sueded his thighs and wired his knees in order to help with this and its been great. He's one of my best posers for being so simple actually! I've even gotten him on one foot and some other odd poses I can't get some of my other dolls to do (even older pictures, as proof! Just ignore the old crappy wig and bad photo skills). The only one that rivals him is my MNF, but that's not exactly surprising.

Dollmore's prices have always been really reasonable. Actually, when I got D their prices were even lower than they are now. The resin quality is great, their faces are wonderful, and I have very few gripes with the posing. My only other complaint would be the fact that they don't offer a more mature female body in their kid line.

Hope that helped somewhat! And I'll ~try~ to pop in more often, offer up some spam, and chat. Just been very caught up in Real Life and only slowly starting to get back to playing with the dolls.

Wow, thank you for all of the insight, captnklaus! I really appreciate it I agree, Pado is just awesome. I looked at some of the other versions of the sculpt, I find myself drawn to it. Just like you though, I wish there were more mature bodies available.

Now that I've seen the posing abilities, I'm coming dangerously close to purchasing her. I was saving up for a different doll, but now I'm not so sure! Decisions, decisions...

Hey, no problem! I've been dangerously close to buying more of their kids a few times and probably would have bought a female Vian by now if they offered a more mature body for her (I'd want her in tan and don't wanna deal with dying the body so no hybrids for me). I did buy their Narsha Friend Coco though.
I love Dollmore dolls and if you need anymore pictures to help you decide just ask and I shall do what I can

Lol....Another pado fan...I don't own one yet but i fell in love with dannykun's Pado at a meet and have vowed to own one.

In terms of price and quality, I have a Shiloh fullset from Dollmore and the faceup is incredible. The clothing is good quality as well. I own two other dollmore outfits for MSDs and I love them. I have heard someone else say that the black fabrics can bleed but since i normally keep my dolls nekkid or in light colored clothing this hasnt happened to my dolls yet. I second captnklaur in regards to the resin. The texture and weight is one of my favorites.

I would indeed recommend getting venetian violet pado.
