I can't believe I never found this thread! I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get him some good shoes. I'm looking for something like a pair of black sneakers or low boots/dr. martins that would fit him. I have some vans style MSD shoes, but they are very snug on him and won't fit at all with socks on. Any help would be great!

Bonus pic of my guy. He's a Rucus with the default face-up and I had his stubble added after... I can't remember who did it... hmm... I'll have to check my records.

I have a pair of standard round toe black oxford like shoes from Dollzone that fit my guy, but be prepared to wiggle the bare foot in. I have a pair of sneakers I bought as key chains that fit really well. I lucked out and they actually had a right and a left shoe. You can find something almost identical here.

I have to swap out the O ring in my guy to an S hook as well as restring him b/c he's starting to chip at the top of his neck. Does anyone have a great recommendation for a US based shop or vender who carries S hooks as well as elastic? I keep looking all over and am worried I'm going to get slammed by shipping costs on something really tiny

I'm not sure on the elastic, but have you tried a hardware store for the S hooks? I think at one point I bought some from Lowes, although they were a little thick. Still, I'd recommend starting there (since I know they've got them) and then try elsewhere if you don't have any luck.

I'm a little sad... I've asked Lati if the Blue Basics will be available for the next ordering period and they said no . I know that Lati makes most money with their Yellows and Yellow Limiteds, but I can't understand why they don't take orders for their other sizes anymore.

I think Lati put on one of their announcements that they weren't going to make Blue or Red sizes anymore. I wanted the red Irene! darn. Glad I have my Blue Cara!

OK I was wrong. I just looked up the announcement at Lati and it just said Red line was being discontinued. The posting says that there will be a new line "Black." So you are safe if you want another blue.

Recently I took a risk. I ordered a pair of MSD pants from Alice's Collections for my Lati Blue Rei, Rhys. I thought, for a split second, that I'd lucked out! But I hadn't. They were extremely well fitted and would have been almost perfect... but they needed a couple cm in the waist to close. So just a heads up. Alice's Collections MSD pants (specifically http://www.alicescollections.com/kkp...tml?cPath=3_30 in MSD) do not fit Lati Blue boys. Too tight, slightly too short (though not as bad as other stuff I've tried on him), and won't close. Wee. Going to have to see where else I can go to find him a nice pair of khakis, since I currently fail at making pants.

Yes, it's rather unfortunate. I keep thinking that they may discontinue the blue line like they did the red line, but I certainly hope not. I might like to get another lati blue in the future if possible.

hey I just saw on the News thread that they were releasing a doll called Largo. I think he's a limited but it also has the BLUE line symbol at the top so does that mean he's an MSD? How much do their limiteds normally run?

I'm super excited!! I finally found a body for my Rei head, so he'll up and running soon! I've wanted a Lati Blue since I got into dolls, so this is pretty cool. I just hope the head will look ok with my DC Colin. And that he's taller. And that some of my clothes fit him! He has nothing! I need to get a faceup on the head and make him a wig D:

When my boy got home he refused the clothes I'd prepared for him (actually, he looked like an escaped mental patient) so until I had time to sew for him (and face-up/etc was priority) he ran around in a loin cloth.

Lol I was kind of afraid this would happen to me too...I actually have skater pants, so I was ready, but he's got some jeans on. They're on the short side :P But with boots there ok.

Well, last night the body arrived! I do love it, I can't believe how giant he seems! (and yet he's barely taller than my DC Colin. Still, any taller is better than nothing!)
He's too buff and his arms are too long for most of my mini clothes but I do have a few things that barely fit. It's funny, a little like dressing his SD self, who's a Migidolll Ryu on a Dollstown body...which has shoulders too broad for a lot of SD13 clothing XD

I made him a wig last night, and I'll be ordering some eyes and a wig cap...any idea what eyesize would be good? I am guessing 14mm or 12mm...but I don't have any 12s to put in him for judgement.

The only problem is...My head must have been WS XD
I had had no idea until I unpacked the body. The color (of the head) wasn't specified on the sales thread, I don't have any lati to compare it too, and I've got plenty of NS as pale as some companies WS so I didn't even think about it. It looks so weird >.<
But I am fairly sure I can blush it to match. At least it was WS head and not WS body. That would have been a NIGHTMARE to match.
