Unoa hybrids? Other bodies that work with Unoa face plates (part 2)

Hi Chinatsu - I have found some pictures when I took my Sist and Ariadoll together.
Not great pics but I think it shows them quite well

I love the Aria body as a hybrid - it is such a great match and so very Unoa looking.

I think, my Lusis would be work with a Ariadoll body. It looks very good.

I was looking on the J.I.D. body favorably because of the lovely curves. Does anyone happen to have both bodies and can compare the posing range? Thanks!

I have both bodies but am not at home until later in the week. If no-one else can help you in the meantime, give me a shout and I can take some photos for you. Just let me know what sort of poses you're looking for...I have both the old Iplehouse JID body and the new one, so can compare them with the Unoa body for you.

I received another Buff head back today and wanted to show the difference it makes.

The first picture is with a normal compatible head back and that is far as down as she can look - I have had to use foam pieces wedged under the back of her neck to force the head to look down.

The other pictures show her with the Buff head back.

The fit and colour is perfect and she can now look in all directions.

This headback has the tabs cut out to facilitate the Chibi and the Elder face plates but all normal 1.0 and 1.5 face plates fit it perfectly well too!

It is also a truer size than the other head back that I had on Daisy and I had to use a wig cap to keep the face plate and her wig on - with this head back there is no need for a cap, it fits a 6/7 Monique wig perfectly.

I am really happy with these head backs and have them on all my hybrids now

Jo_H, those photos are really really useful....and you have such a beautiful bunch of girls....
I really do like all the different hybrids because it makes for such a nice variety.

I'm in the process of purchasing a Buff headback also !
Just a question... It fits the Elders fp's too? I tried putting my Elder on the 1.5 headback and it didn't work so I'm quite excited about being able to use Buff's headbacks for both unoa fp's !

Also, what year is your MNF? I just bought a 2011 MNF A-line body... I'm hoping the match is somewhat close.

That Buff headback seems perfect for unoa! But where can i buy one? I googled for it, but i think i was using the wrong search terms.
The resin match for minifee seems good too, i was wondering i i should buy a normal or a white skin. But normal skin seems a good match.

hello_sunshine - Regarding the Elder fp on the Buff headback, I must say that I have had to swap about a bit as my Elder body was being used with my Ange decadent fp and the default was on a Buff headback with perfect fit. Then I received my Belia face plate (The rest of her is on the way yay!) and went to hybrid her with a Buff headback but she wouldnt fit on it, her face plate was too narrow for some reason and that is why she is now on the Elder body. I then put the Ange fp on the Buff headback and it fitted perfectly ... so all I can say there is that so far 2 out 3 Elder fp's fit on the Buff head back LOL

The mnf body was an older b-line that I bought off the MP and could quite possible be yellowed and to me not a great match - her face plate actually looked quite pale against the body.
Also I didnt like the way the head sat on the neck at all - I had already removed the neck piece and was using with an S-hook. From what I read it seems other people sanded the neck and then reinforced to use with Unoa fp and I wasnt capable of doing anything like that lol so I sold the mnf body - it is probably the only one so far that I just didnt get one with, but I havent seen a new one so can not say how the colour compares - I dont think its a perfect match though, but I will be really interested to see when yours arrives, as I do love the look of the a-line body a lot

Thank you i am not experience in the world of modding. But what i have seen from pictures that the unoa faceplate can slip of the mnf neck, and that doesn't look so pretty.

Yuuki_ - I have just been looking at a thread for someone selling one and she says the same thing that the head does not sit on the mnf body naturally.

as for the MNF matches, I heard either the 2010 NS batch was a good match. The body I got is a 2011 so we will see. At one point I had a WS MNF I believe from 2007/2008 and it was a some ok match with my unoa. The body just needed to be blushes, but it could have also been a yellowed WS.

Hopefully we'll shed some light on this topic soon :P MNF 2011 vs. Unoa NS !

I will be making an Unoa Lusis hybrid soon - or attempting anyway - and I already received the headback from Amaeta. I see most of you use the Buff headback, how does Amaeta's headback compare to Buff's? Does anyone know?

Just a quick question. will the taller ariadoll 14 year body work or does it have to be the 14 year tiny body? I really prefer the taller doll. also which headback would work best with that body Amaeta or Buff?
