The new lovely molds are interesting. Is "realskin" supposed to be like Twiggy's skin tone?

ericaduh, yes. A week ago I wrote on their Q&A asking if there'd be another twiggy Dami release and they told me to wait two more weeks.
I'm a bit disappointed, I was expecting to see Dami/Yumi OE head too. :/
Thank you! On the banner with the dolls it says "Realskin Dami & Yumi", perhaps they will show OE face when they put them up for sale.

I would assume that they mean both the OE and the halfOE version when they say 'Yumi and Dami'. It's really confusing though.
On the website they mean with Yumi a WS edition and with Dami a NS edition I think. But I think Yumi is also used for the half-OE sculpt and Dami for the OE sculpt.
I would definately think they release both Faceplate options though, I don't think they have ever released only one of them at an orderperiod?
This Dami/Yumi thing always confuses me, it's just like you said.
Well, it's already September 15 in S. Korea. It's just a matter of 12 hours or so and we'll find out. I was a bit worried that maybe the smiling faceplate in the banner could be a new OE, but I'm just wrong. Lovely Soah also has a smiling FP, nothing to worry about.

I'm personally not worried over OE, I'm stressing over price.
Am I right that the only Realskin editions before were LE? I think those were really expensive. But it was years ago and I can't remember if they were fullset or not. Hopefully only a few more hours of waiting, and then we'll know.
I like the new faces in the banner btw. Not enough to want them more then I want Yumi/Dami but they are really cute. The first two remind me a bit of two Tiny Elfdolls, Bongsunhwa and Mindelre. They look like they could be older versions of them.

You're right, all of them were LE. I was into the doll hobby by that time, but not into BJDs. So that's as far as I know. I don't think they were a fullset, but they did come with both OE and half-eyes faceplate.
I like the new FPs too, but my #1 priority is the old OE FP (though sometimes I think I should get both old FPs).

I vaguely remember reading a discussionthread on the Lovelydolls years ago. I think the prices for LE Twiggy were in the 700's...? Very expensive for an MSD, though if she came with two faceplates with face-up that would put the basic doll without face-up at...around 480-500 or so..? Elfdoll dolls are usually very reasonably priced so I'm guessing it's the process of making light tan resin that made it expensive back then, and I wonder if that would happen again now.
I'm hoping she will be a bit cheaper.
Another thing is if you want extra's you will have to buy them now since it's a LE resincolour. The Realskin parts in the Marketplace are a few years old and might look different then the new colour. So ideally I'd buy the second faceplate with the doll. But ugh...expensive!
Sigh. I'm updating the site like mad, which makes absolutely no sense since it's night there now and they need sleep too.
I'm really, really, really expecting a cheaper basic option!
Fortunately, I'm convinced I don't want any of the new heads, phew. Elfdoll real skin LEs came just when Dollshe is discontinuing all their existing dolls, and I want at least two heads from them. The last thing I need right now is a very expensive LE. My wallet is already in panic!
In the first hour of their new day I was thinking if there was any possibilty Elfdoll could have programmed their site to update itself at midnight and open the pre-orders. Now I'm only refreshing their page every 30 minutes.

My wallet is in panic too XD. I'm not proud to say this, but I'm spending money on this saved for something else. I need to sell one or two other dolls to balance it back out, but I have a bit of time for that.
But I am still very happy with this release. Let's just hope it won't be superexpensive!
I do feel glad that I'm usually not into LE's though, they really put you on the spot. You're either scrambling to get the money or you miss out on something and can only get it paying aftermarket prices. Makes this hobby a bit more stressful I think.
I love how the Yumi on the right of the banner is looking. Some people in the regular Elfdoll thread were talking about how good the Elfdoll face-ups have gotten. There are two people in that thread who received their Rita heads and they had really beautiful face-ups.

That's nice. Depending on her price I might order the face-up, but for now I'm getting blank heads.
I'm coming from a doll hiatus after almost quitting the hobby. I was saving money for something else too and ended up spending in dolls!I sold my hybrid Unoa to get another MSD, a MNF Woosoo, but now I think that can wait.

I went to sleep hoping to wake up to an updated site but the Lovelydolls are still not there.
I've dreamt about it too, there was this site with all kinds of Lovelydolls, parts, extra heads (even animalheads..??), limbs in weird colors and fullset clothes but NO Yumi or Dami, lol.
Obsessed, me? Nah.
Animal heads? Hahaha! I didn't dream or anything, but I was checking their site until 11:00 AM, Korean time.
WTF, Elfdoll... Prank of the year? I woke up really early today (12 hour difference between timezones) to check their site. Not to mention yesterday's scouting and anxiety... for nothing. lol.
My anxiety is gone after this.

Are they updating only the wigs for lovelydoll now?But I can see new lovelydoll molds.
It looks like that indeed, but it's hard to tell without price. Maybe they use the same pictures (partially) for the dolls and wigs?
EDIT they're updating the shoes now. I hope the dolls will be next!

After stalking the site for 24 hours I'm getting frustrated with this. The order period would start on the 15th, yet it is already the 16th in Korea and the dolls are still not up, just a whole bunch of clothes, shoes and wigs.
I really hope they are not deciding they are going to do the rest tomorrow.
EDIT Sorry Arisha, I missed your post! Good that she's there, it's the one in the long blond wig right?
