You know, what surprises me is those "rights" problems, 'cause FL really shouldn't have much troubles with releasing her face-mold, it's VF art based image that is under copyright. I don't care about the image, I want this face. And I want it so badly...

Sounds like this has turned into some kind of licensing nightmare for them. I'm so glad another company has come out with a body I like even better in the meantime! So sorry for those of you who are waiting for the full doll. I know it can feel like forever!!

For me it's not good news at all.
I'm not happy to wait for half a year more to see eventually that I can't afford the doll for it's price that might be more than $1000 due to this stupid "image" things or that they have changed her face. Feel sad and disappointed. The worst thing is that I'll still probably act like a fool keeping waiting for the final release and still hoping for good.

I fell out of love with this doll since it is taking so long for her to be released. She looks like a grown up version of their Minifee Mirwen to me. For those that want her I hope to see owner pics of her at least whenever she is made.

I feel the same. I got Mirwen and I'm very happy with her. This doll just took way too long without any information whatsoever for many months. I was at the edge of my seat for so long that the anticipation stopped being fun and exciting long ago. I do hope to see lots of owner pictures when she comes out

frankly saying, I've been thinking about Mirwen since she came out, but... fortunately or unfortunately, but I really WANT this VF doll and I know I CAN wait... I can wait for a long time if it's necessary and it is right what i'm going to do now.
at this point all I needed was just some information: does it make sense to wait for her release at all? now - thanks to FL!!! - I have it so it makes sense for me.
*however, again - Yamato... and this part of the news doesn't seem to be good...

BTW - it would only be the face and the look which is involved with the licensing nightmare over the VF doll. The body (which looks a lot like an updated 60cm Delf) would be involved in the fact that Luts and FL are probably still wrangling over who gets to sell the Delf rather than anything to do with the VF thing.

I am happy it's moving on (slowly though)......and I will be happy to starts saving, but the thing that most
probably Yamato will be involved in sale isn't a good news for me. I really wished FL would come up with new
line starting with VF doll........

Luts no longer sells Delfs, so if anything I think we can hope for a new 60cm line from Fairyland in the future!

I never noticed before I saw the new blog post's picture. She DOES look like Mirwen! I've loved Mirwen for awhile, so I guess that isn't a bad thing, but at the same time, I guess I would much rather get Mirwen than this girl...Not like I won't enjoy seeing everyone else's dolls of course!

I really don't want her to be sold by Yamato, $1000, is a lot more than I would like to spend on her. Usually they make the clothing too skimpy for my tastes as well.

Pinkeed I feel exactly the same. I am not even interested in full set, I would just love to have the blank doll (+ if they would made the heel feet parts I would be totally doomed then!)

as far as I know - no news since FL told us to wait for several months, bcz they still can't reach the agreement on the final look of the girl... so we are waiting again(
