Yes...they're pricey. But... Your getting a doll from an artist who is running a small business.
And you would be getting a high quality made doll that has had a lot of thought and care gone into it by
the artist herself. Even though the dolls are being produced by another company...it still has that
personal touch. I love both dolls. The problem is that it's just too hard to choose between the two girls. Maybe I'll have to get both...!!! And I want the extra large bust too.

LillyCat ~ Can you tell us more about the resin that these beauties are made of please?

    Hi everyone
Happy to see this thread open.
I would like to give some explanations about this new line.
I am most known in europe for my Artdoll making. Since I received in the last year a lot of messages from people who love my doll design but can't afford an expensive art doll fully painted like my Sandre, or who prefer to do their custom themselves ( it isn't possible to remove paint on an artdoll ) I finally decided to start a new line especially for those customers.
This is why dolls from the ready to custom line are sold without face up, this way people can appropriate those dolls and give them their personnality.
I use my artdoll as a drawing and paint support, and for the ready to custom line, I want to give this support to custom to others.
I will continue to offer fullcustom dolls and artdolls on my website when I have time to cast whole dolls, but not on all the dolls available.
The resin used by the manufacturer I work with is Polyurethan resin, the same used for Kaye wiggs dolls. This resin has a very smooth look and touch, I love this resin a lot, because after faceup it looks very realistic , more than the other resins I used to work with. For me the look and touch of the resin is very important and I chosed my manufacturer because of this resin.
Hope I answered to some questions, feel free to ask me if you have any others, I will be happy to answer.

THere's actually something I've needed to ask you Rachelle. Is it any way possible to order pair of extra hands for Eugenie and Constantine? The hands are simply gorgeous but also very fragile. Could you make a pre-order of these as well if and when you are about to make another pre-order for either Constantine or Loonette?

  6. #6
I can consider offer in the futur hands only on the website for those who allready have a doll with the classic msd body yes, in the same style there will also be glamour bust for sale as stock item on the website, and probably high heel feet too.
The hands looks fragiles but the resin is strong if you don't let her fall on the floor there should not be problem.
In case I make a new preorder for Constantine I will put the order to my manufacturer before starting the preorder so the delivery will be faster than on the first edition.

She's here! Eugenie arrived!! *SQUEEEEeeee!!* She's adorable and everything I hoped for I can't wait to get her face on, even though I'm still not sure what she's going to look like yet lol. her resin is so gorgeous and such a great colour.

Anyway I thought I'd share this slightly amusing pic of her briefly meeting my cat, Bug. He's all, "Hey there Miss Kitty Lady," *wink* lol. Also there are box opening pics on my blog if anyone has any interest {LINK} Now to think up a name. Hmmm.

Hi everybody ! Happy to see that girls starting to arrive here
To answer about next preorder. As I told on my facebook page my manufacturer won't have time to mold my rabbit girl Loonette before they come back from holiday so not before february the 10. So I decided to put a new order with the " classic body " ( the body of Constantine and Eugenie ) and I ordered yesterday 45 bodies with Constantine head and the new head Ombre which is a dreaming Elf version. It was a Constantine I modded but actually she looks more like a sister than a modded Constantine. Her face looks a bit like my Sandre Dreaming girl.
So the dolls are allready ordered to start the production faster even with their holiday and get them here in france by the middle of March. I will open the preorder of Loonette just after.
The new preorder of Classic body with heads will be open on beginning of January as I take holiday myself in December. This time the preorder will stay open as long as I have stock, as the number of dolls is fixed. 45 no more for this time.
You will have the possibility to choose the head you want for default with your body so Constantine or Ombre. In case you choose to take both head there will be a discount on the price.
Girl will come with a brand new artbook vol.2 signed like the first edition, a new wig with a new design and color, and eyes in new color too.
I will show you pics of Ombre head on my website as soon as possible.
Thanks again to all of you for your interest in my work and support !
    Have a nice day

    Rachelle

Hi, I just checked and can get on the site no problem. Try http://www.lillycat.net/wordpress/

Constantine was 445 Euros and Eugenie was 430 Euros. There will be orders opening in January for Constantine and Ombre I think. Have a look at Rachelle's post on the previous page. Hope this helps

    You're right Yosd dresses work as tops, I think Yosd t-shirts would work as well. I tried a bunch of stuff and she's really not as hard as I imagined she'd be to dress. I talked a little bit about some of the stuff she's been wearing on my blog if anyone has any interest. {LINK}

I really love the work of Lillycat, and I am so happy to see this thread on DOA. I am in love with Constantine, I will order one at the preorder of January. I like Ombre too but I don't want a doll with dreaming eyes, but i want to see her in resin. I am seriously thinking about order a Manon when she will be available; I just wanted to know what size of wig fits for Constantine?

DollInk, Constantine takes a size 6 inch wig (I just measured my Constantine and her head measures 6 inches). The wig she comes with is a bit loose on her so I recommend using wig stopper or a silicon cap.

Sienna, thank you very much. So a 6/7 wig is too big? Do you think that a 5/6 wig can fit?

DollInk, I would go for the 5/6 size wig as I think the 6/7 wig would be too big.

MistUnicorn, she looks great! I love what you've done with her hair, so creative!

Miss Kitty got some new clothes so she's primping and preening.
