Fairyland Multihead Discussion part 2

Well I have a new favourite doll!!!! I bought a multihead Ante on a bobobie body and she arrived yesterday! I not only adore the Ante sculpt in this size, but I love her on the bobobie body!! She's that little bit smaller than the pukifee and Lati Yellow girls, and her hands are so dainty and perfect for her. I love the scale of the multihead and it is perfect with the bobobie body. She's got a lovely faceup too. I was stuck for wigs, as I hadn't managed to get one in the right size, but I did have a mohair one that my Luna used to wear, so I used a safety pin to gather it at the back so it fits her. It isn't perfect, but I just love her SO MUCH!! I have not been able to put her down. My camera can't get in close enough to get a decent photo of her close up (or maybe it can and I am just rubbish at using it - entirely possible!!) but this is a quick shot to introduce her. She's just the cutest thing EVER. The pic doesn't do her justice or show off her sweet faceup properly, but I couldn't wait!!

The only trouble is, now I am dying to get my hands on a Juri to be her buddy!!!! I really can't afford one at the moment, so I hope they are still floating around in a few months!

I have to say, in all honesty I love my multihead more than my pkf Ante. I really adore the size and proportions of her. Although I suppose wig and outfits and eyes make a world of difference. I mean, my multihead's wig and outfit are so perfect for her and conjure up images of hansel and gretel lost in the woods to me, or at least a lost, helpless but tough little girl. I ADORE her personality. And a lot of that comes through faceup, wig, eyes and clothes..... but whatever it is she is definitely super special and I neeeeed more multiheads! It is a shame they don't pop up in the MP very often. I had to hunt for AGES to find Gretel!!

actually there are a couple of Juris in the MP and I really love the white skin one, but I don't have a white body and they're hard to find, plus fairyland white is really pure white, other companies WS are different (at least in the size I want) :/ anyway besides the colors there is the insignificant cash-problem xP

Finally get to show off my Zefi. Put her on an obitsu that I spray painted (colour off so I have to fix that) and she has a basic faceup by me (which is not great but.....neh)

btw I've bought a Juri head from the marketplace and he/she should arrive within 2 weeks! I'm so happy
I've also found an Ante MH in a european forum, but I'm still waiting for a confirm... I hope to have news next week, I love Ante in every size

Out of curiosity...which sculpts come in Multihead...I know of Zefi, Juri, Ante and Cupid. Are there any more?

uhm, there are Bonnie (which is available as standard line with pukifee body - as well as Zefi) and Shiwoo vampire.. I don't think there are others :S

Some more pic spam of Maire....she has a wig now and I redid her faceup. I can't believe how much I adore her. She is going with me on my trip to England in a week and a half instead of any of my older dolls.

My Juri can wear size 3-4 if it has a bit of stretch, like J-Pop or Monique wigs do. Monique also has some wigs available in precisely size 4, which I have tried and they fit perfectly. 4-5 might also work in a pinch, and will allow room for a silicone wig-cap underneath (I can't say enough good things about silicone wig-caps for all of your dolls).

I have a mohair "Johnny" wig on order, and will post pics & tips as soon as it arrives! The Johnny wig is made with wefting sewn onto a base cap, as opposed to Fairyland's mohair, which is made with skins.

Fairyland's mohair wigs For PukiPuki will also fit on a multihead by default, because they are sized a bit too generously for a 3-4 head.

So I checked and I never posted these here: I made a wig for my Juri by crocheting a wig cap out of brown sewing thread. Then I sewed eyelash yarn in a spiral pattern around the cap to make "hair."
I had a little trouble with the crown - it sticks up too much

GoodbyeKitty173 - LOL....I have the same SSC (strawberry shortcake) shoes for my girl. I love how they fit and they are sooo cute. Too bad the ones from the Playmates series don't fit so great.

I finally got Maire's new body in the mail (a mishap with obitsu body and nail polish remover.....trust me, you don't want to know) and will be spraying it white. I will let you all know how it goes so that those with a white multihead can do a fairly cheap body.

Does anyone know of a body about the same size as the obitsu? I was thinking resinsoul Yu/Dian body, but can't find anyone with both that and a multihead to show me size.

and I'm too desperate ç_ç I'm waiting for Juri to come (from 3 weeks now, I hope he's not lost >.<) and Ante to be shipped, but I haven't heard the seller in the past few days, I hope she'll ship this week!

There are all so cute ! Hope that on day I will have a body for my mother's M!Ante too (or at least not the obitsu one that she has now lol)

marxwyn Ante has not been sent yet =.= and Juri is coming with registered airmail with insurance, so at least I can be refunded, but I don't really care about that, I prefer to have him! :/
also I've already bought them 2 temporary bodies, luckily they're obitsu so if the heads won't come I won't regret to have spent too much..
