Moonbeam, congrats on the new family! And thanks for the photo. I'm contemplating a Lumedoll boy and appreciate the ability to check out the scale.

Moonbeam, your family is lovely--what wig is your Blaze wearing? Is that one of tabloach's wigs?

Moonbeam I love the family too and I really do love that cardi that Ellen is wearing

And emsinnott I am so pleased that your girl finally has a name! and Reika I have no idea how you managed to put in eyelashes!!!
    Have fun!

moonbeam: wow, thanks a lot for showing us your little family! Seems like the Lumedoll boys are really a good fit.

Jane: well, it certainly was hard work. The result is far from perfect, but at least the eyelashes don't fall off! XD
I used a lot of white glue, though. Even after I got the eyelashes in I put another layer of glue from the inner of the head to secure it. I just hope I can get rid of them if I ever wanted to change the face-up...

These boots are too cute, emsinnott! I'm waiting for my Mimiwoo order to arrive, too - with shoes that hopefully fit my Sara...

I have sewn Solveig a dress recently:

Okay, peoples...I haven't found a clear answer one way or the other -- would 6 or 8mm eyes be better for my Sara? Thanks!

ModernWizard, trust me - 6mm. And the lighter the shade the better. I went through 4 pairs of eyes until I found a pair that worked for my Sara.

    6mm work best for Sara!

    emsinnott: I love the boots!

Reika: Solveig's dress is perfect for summer. She looks so 70's!

    Jerry: Very nice hat.

Jerry: Such a cute summer hat!

thoaitai: you're such an artist! First these cute shoes, now this dress - it's beautiful! And are those really elven ears? Did you mod them onto her human ears?

Solveig can cuddle her little daughter Lotta now! This little darling is a PukiPuki Flora which arrived just on friday. =)
(Sorry, no new dress for Solveig yet - but she'll get more clothes soon. I'll just have to find the right not-too-stiff fabrics.)

Thank you ModernWizard !! Yes , she has elf ears . I love elves , fairy , and the legends about them !!

Thanks Reika !! I make elf ears from polymer clay . And I fixed them onto her human ears with glue . The components of the polymer clay (in white color) and glue is not harmful to resin . I easily remove it when necessary .
I'm sure we can blushing the polymer clay elf ears and sealed them with Mr. Super Clear .

It's wonderful when you gave Solveig a warm family !

I wish Soul Doll Kimmy become to brother of my girl but he has sold out , and now he is very hard to find ..

thoaitai: Thanks a lot for telling me how you did the elven ears! I also thought of making detachable elven ears out of polymer clay or Epoxy, but for a larger doll. It's nice to see that this method actually works!
If I may ask, which brand of clay and glue did you use?

Anyway, it looks really good on your doll, even without a wig. =)

    Dear Reika

I bought this polymer clay at the Polymer Clay Flower Shop . Its packaging has no brand , just a few Thai words , but I think all they are same .
Good or bad polymer clay only affect clay flower quality . It does not adversely affect the resin and the MSC .
I just worry about stain resin can happen if we mixed a dark color or Oil color into the polymer clay .

I used glue is usually used to make handmade paper craft . It has milky white , it smells like yogurt . When dry it will become throughout , odorless , and when pasting the paper , it is very solid . But for resin , it is easy cleaning with a damp cloth .
In Vietnam my country , it's called Milk Glue . I'm not sure it is Elmer's Glue or not . Because Elmer's Glue can paste a lot of material , but milk glue just works best when paste papers .
