LIMHWA To You Sara discussion part 2

I've been waiting for the js preprder to open after I missed the August one by a few days!! Thinking of ordering another sara and/or a mari. Anyone know how long preorder periods are usually open? And does it generally take around 3 months?

I'd also like to know how long it takes to receive a doll from Limhwa!

I think the 3 month wait was longer then normal, Emory hinted at a new sculpt or modification of some sort that was slowing down production time.

I received my Sara in the mail today. I love her so much, and she posed so well. I bought some clothes for her from Walmart so she wouldn't be naked. She fits Liv clothes perfectly. Bratz clothes are to short in the torso, but if it's a stretchy fabric it can work. And Moxie pants are way to tight, but the tops fit nicely if they are stretchy or loose fitting. Now all I have to do is deiced what eyes and wig will work with her.

No, I don't have a wig or eyes for her yet. I'm still trying to decide what color I want. I still need to do her faceup as well. I've never worked with anything that small, so we'll see how she turns out.

Thank you. Liv clothes are so cute, I was excited that they fit.

I forgot to mention that she's currently in a Azone outfit and it fits. I have some other Azone and Blythe clothes at home, so I'm going to try those on when I have time.

Emory just posted a picture on the junky spot Facebook page of a massive pile of Cardboard boxes and someone identified a few as Limhwa boxes. So I think the pre-order should be shipping really soon!

on another happy note I managed to scrape together enough to pay for a Toyou Sara in Beige, so when the pre-order goes up I'll be able to order!

There might be some in-stock Saras available on Junky spot in the next few days (though they would probably have the default face-up) so then you would have a 2-5 day wait instead of 2-3 months.

They don't have a link for the 27cm yet, since the last order didn't have any 27cm in-stock dolls in it (apparently Emory ran out of funds before buying any tinys) the last in-stock Limhwa order was almost completely sold out within 24 hours!

There may have been too many pre-orders also. Limhwa has a limited production and there was a pent-up demand.

Junky spot is the only US retailer of Limhwa dolls, I think theres a UK one, maybe Triskel? (Sp?)

Triskel do also stock Limwha, but they are in Netherlands not UK. They also only seem to offer pre-order on Limwha dolls, but they place orders on 25th of each month. Limwha take around 60 days to ship from order date.

Limwha Sara is love--so happy the Emory took up carrying them, want a tan Mari so bad!!!! I just order some outfits for mine from Mmiwoo (Momoko size) and am hoping desperately that they will fit her. Was going to order from Clearlan but they were out of most of what I wanted. Will keep an eye on their site to see when they restock, just adore their stuff and the prices are amazing. Anybody know how long it is before they ship out an order?
