LIMHWA To You Sara discussion part 2

oh oh I see we have to start a new thread??? suddenly the old one was closed??

I don't have my limhwa sara yet, so can't start with spamming pictures...so please all the others???

I was thinking about what doll could be a nice boy partner in future for my girl .
I like the new planetdoll dandy, but I am afraid his head is a bit to big?....I did see a comparison picture of limhwa next to planet doll girl......not sure.
I did see pictures with limhwa next to a lumedoll koit and lumedoll blaze and think they look good....just not sure about the small eyes from these boys...I would want a tiny johnny depp for her
Jane do you already have the dreamingtree eyes in your girl?

oh a new thread for this popular little lady!

I've ordered some of those dreamingtree eyes as well - since I've added eyelashes to my girl they cast a dark shadow, so I've chosen some lighter coloured ones.
Can't wait for them to arrive ^^

Here is my girl's new faceup~

I just love her tiny face!

What a difference a year makes! I bought Sara last year and sold immediately. She was too small for me.
Recently I started collecting tiny dolls and my interest in Sara was rekindled. I was lucky to get one from DOA. She arrived today. I want to keep her young. I need shoes and eyes. Any suggestions?

Here she is (no name yet)

Thanks bajib! I am really happy with her. She does need a friend so I will be watching for the preorder too. I would like to get Mari.

Good to know the wait is not too long. Thanks Nancy!

Is Sara'a legs the same length as Momoko? Thanks!

I am enjoying my new Sara. She needs a name. Here she is with Banji.
I would prefer the normal skin and hope to find another. I will be watching every day too.

Banji makes a good little sister for her! She looks darker than Banji in that picture!

Thanks Nancy! She is the same color as Banji. She was further from the light.

Oh I love the Sara and Mari molds..I think I'll get a pair for the pre-order. Only problem is, I don't want to buy them with the face up, but also don't want to pay $60 for a face up from someone on the forum for such a tiny tiny face..

Caroline! I love your Limhwa, she made me take the plunge and decide to get 2

I love your Sara Oliveoil and she looks adorable in those outfits too. Are you hoping to trade or buy a new one to get the resin colour you would like?

It must be so much more difficult to work on such a tiny face, so a face-up on such a tiny doll is bound to cost a decent amount of money.

Have you decided to buy without the face-ups then?
    Have fun!

Jane: Thanks on my Sara. I am not sure what I will do. I may end up ordering ws Mari. I am getting use to the color.
I am having fun with wigs, but eyes are still a problem. I don't want to spend a lot and I don't like Glib.
She just got a new wig...

OoooOOOh, sweet wig. Where is it from? I would not even want to try and switch out eyes on mine---they are soooo tiny. I have already lost a puki puki hand for about 6 months---geez, I could lose a forever an eye! I also have not added the eyelashes that my Sara came with for fear they would over power her eyes.

Oliveoil she looks fabulous in that new wig and the fit looks so good.....what size did you order please?
What I really like about your girl is the blush on her, my girl deosn't have any on her face.
    Your girl is beautiful

I tried some 5mm eyes in my ToYou Sara and (for me) they were far to small and gave my girl a really sinister look so that I didn't like to look at her.
They also emphsised the difference in size of each eyewell

So Callie is back to wearing the eyes she I bought her with, and now they don't seem to big to me!
But the acrylic eyes don't photograph well for me

I've got the 5mm eyes now, for me I like them - I have two pairs, the paler ones definitely look a little odd like Jane said! These ones are a bit darker so it looks ok

Oh and the eyelashes just weren't working! They looked good in real life, but in all the photos her eyes were just too hooded so off they went~

Jane- the eyes in your photo look really nice, the blue is pretty!
