    yay pirate love!

I'm not gonna lie, appling facial hair was a PAIN IN THE ARSE. But it was worth it. ^_^ Even among the large dolls, you don't normally see beards that are very long, so I'm excited to feel unique. And also excited that the beard isn't falling off >.<

deadpixel did you make that pirate outfit? Looks great!

ah, thank you ^////^ I try to make as much doll clothing myself as possible, I find it saves a lot of money in the long run. It'll take me a good few years at least before I can hope to match professionally-made garments especially in terms of finishing detail, but practice makes perfect ^_^

That is by far the most impressive beard I've ever seen, on doll or human xD definitely well worth the effort that must have gone into it!

OH MY GOSH! That is so creative, I never would have thought "This yo-sd sized doll could be a dwarf" instead of just, you know a kid ... and he looks amazing to boot!!

deadpixel I started out that way, thinking, "if I sew them things myself, I'll save money!" And I did that for a bit.....then I used the extra money to buy more dolls.....now I can't sew fast enough to keep them all clothed so I wind up buying a lot more often

    missasher hehe thanks ^_^

The only hurdle to making a dwarf has been getting the body right. At first I had a Impldoll body, it had a nice rounded belly like a beer belly, but was very dainty overall, especially in the hands. Right now Blandarn is borrowing a littlefee body. It's thicker, which is good, but still not right.

So it's pretty funny that I've finally decided its best to just get an old-style dollzone body for him. Long arms, thick body, pudgy hands, perfection! Or at least i think it will be ~_^

Both of my BBs are the old body, and I'm pretty sure you'll like it for what you're going for. Posing isn't as good, but I think it's to be expected. It's just a little frustrating attempting to clothe both my BBs and my Teenie Gems since their bodies are so different.

I don't think I've actually seen a comparison of the two bodies. Do you have a comparison photo? I have a TG too. I hope the pirate coat still fits >.<

I found Nono and Momo, but are there others ? With smaller eyes maybe ?

I would like photos, please ?
