Thanks designedforsmiles! I love him to bits. I'm so happy I was trolling the MP when I wasn't supposed to be and saw him and my husband let me grab him even though I'd just ordered another doll recently (which is why I really shouldn't have been looking in the MP dolls section). I can't imagine not having him now.

Thanks Newbjder! He's definitely at home in the woods, but you wouldn't know it to see him sitting on the couch with his lollipop at home. He looks like he could care less if he ever goes outside, then.

I consistently get jealous over lovely nature scenery just lending itself to bjd photographs. I guess if I wanted to style my dolls like raiders in a post apocalyptic wasteland, I could use any of the scenery within 100miles of my house. But a faun, or elf, pictured in a generally peaceful greenery...forget about it. Stupid desert.

Sometimes I miss having access to snow and ice and woods that actually change color in the fall and lose their leaves in the winter. I've gotten tons of pics of Tovarious in the snow cuz I got him when I was in Canada. But now I have all these child dolls and no snow for them to play in. Ah well. I also miss having 15 acres of woods right in my backyard and a pond on the property and everything else, but my father-in-law doesn't live there anymore so I can't even bring my dolls up when we visit this summer. I can't really complain though. I have the woods on the other end of the block and some wildflowers in the side yard that are pretty and I've gotten plenty of good pictures here.

I love moon 's head. Pity the doll will be hard enough to get without worrying about hybrids and selling the body. I don't care for the body but those ears!!! Oh well, one of the many "if only "dolls lol.

oo I wasn't thrilled with them looking at the full set pictures, but looking at the blank dolls, they are rather stunning. I would like the whole thing if their tails weren't so thick. They have such skinny torsos and then their hips just balloon out to these enormous thighs and tail.
But it doesn't really matter since I'm not looking to get another doll and am not too interested in getting a dragon anyway. I'll just appreciate the beauty of the upper half of their sculpt and wait for pics of what other people do with them.

It's been a while since I've been here, but let's introduce my Uriel; now with the right wig, the right eyes and a re-done face up. He only lacks clothes, but I'll get around to that soon XD

...I don't think the new dragon dolls are event-only. They have prices under them, which leads me to believe that they are available to buy, and it doesn't say anything about them being a limited fullset; but you can get one for free if you qualify under the event. Just because it's included in the event doesn't mean it's event-only, you know? I'm thinking they just want to promote the new releases a little bit more.

I really like Moon's face! It reminds me a little bit of a FairyLand MiniFee Shushu, but smaller. I am not a big fan of the large tails and dragon legs, though... to me they look a bit more like dinosaurs than dragons, though I'm not sure that's a clear distinction to anyone else.

Aww, Uriel is adorable. I like his eyes. All my dolls have blue eyes so I just ordered green ones for my girl on the way. Took me awhile to find glass eyes that weren't either a solid pastel green or a solid olive green, which I didn't like the looks of. His eyes look sorta olive green, but they have a more realistic depth than any of the ones I was looking at, and I was looking for something a little darker and brighter. More of an emerald. I ended up getting something a bit different than what I was originally looking for, but they're really pretty and I think they'll work nicely. Just waiting to see them in person.

Anyway, where did you get those eyes from? They're really nice. They look perfect on him. His face-up and eyes all tie in nicely together. Can't wait to see the kinds of clothes he wears.

The hips are personally my favourite poart of them (but I can see why others might not think so). THey are so rolypoly looking o3o. I will be watching DDE after (if they are event dolls) and if not, well, I'll be saving up o3o

Mint on Card has them up on their sale page, so it seems that they must not be event only peices!

I like the body, and I like the head, but I just don't like them together. I would sort of like a real dragon head.

Poor Star. Everyone's drooling over Moon. I sorta like Star. I'd have to see them blank, side by side to make a final decision, though. As I said, I didn't really like either til I saw the last couple pictures of the blank doll. That's when the head sculpts really caught my eye, and it even made the body look a little less awkward to me.

I was just looking over them again and paid more attention to the nudies. Without the hair and clothing I do sort of like them. I don't know if I'm sold on them yet, though. I'd like to see some posing pictures.

Just thinking: We have the baby dragons, and now we have child dragons....will adult dragons eventually be made? That might be cool.

Well my oldest son desperately wants Star. He has a baby dragon already. Naturally he wants him blank, another doll for mommy to paint. I do think they are cute though.

I would like to see some more posing pictures, too. It doesn't look like it can possibly do more than stand with that huge tail behind it, but maybe it's more flexible and less heavy than it looks. At least it appears to be one doll that you would never have to worry about falling. But I do like the fact that this one is more human than the baby dragons. They're cute, but how much can you really do with them, pose-wise? They have no legs. That's also why I would never get a mermaid doll. No matter how cute/beautiful, I like having dolls I can pose without the need of a stand holding it up in photos. That's just my personal preference, though. I can see the attraction, they're just not for me.

I'm pretty amazed at the new dragon bodies...thou I don't think I'd really want one. Can't deny that they are unique thou. And I am thankful that dollzone consistently pushes the characteristics of standard 'fantasy' dolls.
