Mine is pink normal skin too. i wanted her to look more natural. i have had a couple white because i customized them but i got her without the intention on changing her much if at all. i plan to add some eyelashes but that's about it. her face-up is so nice i don't see the sense in changing it.

Poor DFS! It is so mean to forbid someone from spending all the money. You should buy everything!

Muuu, my little deer boy is all paid for, now I just need to wait for DDE and the mail. I hope I get another puzzle cube from them. They sent me little toys when I bought my Plum a new body, and I love puzzle cubes. They are all the same, but I am obsessed with them! O_O
But yeah, I need me clothes for my boy. D: Has anyone tried MoC for clothes? What fits well?

Not sure about foot size. do they have the same body types as ShuangShuang does? If so ill be happy to measure her for you.

Wanted to share a dress i made today to match a bonnet i made last week and jammies.

Yeah i plan to make my first company order when i get my taxes to get a fairyland doll. I usually order from Junky Spot. So i haven't had to wait to long for any of them so far. I know i wont likely see her till June though when i do order her.

How long has it been? Do you still have a long time to go?

I ordered a body and a set of extra hands on Sept 15th >.< I placed my order through Denver Doll, though, which I know takes a long time.

Two months isn't real bad thou. If I haven't heard anything by Dec 15th, thou, I'll be contacting them. I was pretty sure I'd have my guy put together in time for christmas.

Crystalinewings: your ShuangShuang is lovely I love wide-eyed expressions on child dolls, she looks so innocent and sweet. And that matching dress and bonnet are too cute >w< and really well made; I know how hard it can be to get neat stitching on clothing that small. Do you use a machine for tiny clothing, or do you handsew? Either way, I'm impressed ^_^

My little dragon is now blushed! I just got him back the other day from a friend who offered to do him really cheap - mates rates plus although she's an artist she has very little experience painting bjds so she didn't feel comfortable charging. Though she did such an amazing job on him that it feels like daylight robbery to me XD

The eyes are Alice's Collections, 14mm glass cat eyes. 14mm is slightly too big for his eyes, especially the left socket. If they were high domed it wouldn't be an issue, but I'm keeping them because 14mm is the smallest diameter for this range of eyes and I don't like the look of acrylics in him.

<3 !! BABY DRAGON CUTE AND EPIC!! JD has one of those a while back i thought of getting it. But when i had the $ it was gone. As for the cloths i do a little bit of hand and machine. I have been a professional seamstress for 17 years now so i have learned a few tricks that help. but i still mess up and end up tossing out a few things or alter it to work. the cuffs are the hardest part.

The scales around the eyes are really realistic looking! Do you plan to add that scale-y-ness to any other parts of his face?

Man, that friend did a really good job. They took some time on those scales. O_O

My new boy arrived! I want to play with him, but I don't want to take him with me to ceramics. Maybe I will sneak him in and keep him away from all the clay.

My Nono girl is here XD Took some box opening photo's and will have those up shortly, I've already been trying on clothes and introduced her to her baby cousins who are almost the same size as her lol. She's my first official BJD, I love her!!! She's soooo cute. I can't wait to get her a face-up! She also came with shoes and a little outfit that i wasn't expecting. ^_^

thanks that was pretty much my reaction when I opened the wrapping and saw him finished, lol. Hmm, I'm a sewing beginner (don't even have a machine yet ) so maybe it's ambitious of me to aim for your level of craftsmanship this early on...suppose I'll just lurk through your threads for tips and inspiration XD

She really did a good job, especially considering the vague details of my request. His face is my favourite part ^w^ To answer your question; no, that will be the extent of his scaly faceup. I have just sewn a rather bushy fur wig for him that covers most of his head anyway. I'll post a pic here when I can borrow someone's camera to use, as I've changed his eyes now too. The poor fit of those 14mms was really bothering me.

Thanks to everyone else who commented on Fáfnir too maybe it's my imagination but he seems to be staring down from the shelf with a really smug and arrogant expression right now... XD

Deadpixle if you want any advice, this goes for anyone else too, pm me I will be more than happy to offer sewing advice. I will do some step by step stuff too in the future to help others. Is there a place on DoA I can post tutorials? I like helping any way I can. It's a fun hobby for me to sew. I get a lot out of it.

Poor dears are sitting there with no blushing while I'm busy with xmas crafts for family and a craft show. They DO make me smile every time I glance over while working though. I love these deer and wish I could justify buying more. lol

My new boy's got a crappy faceup and a crappier picture, now all he needs is a not-so-crappy wig. D: Despite this, he's still too cute! I am glad I nabbed him. I spammed this over in another thread, but here he is, spending time with my Plum. I am glad he at least wears something I have, even if it is Hazel's ninja outfit.
