Misty1 I really like this last pic you posted. What an adorabley cute girl and a darling little dress! Definitely have to go to Target! Oh, I will be near there tomorrow, too. Have to stop in and see what I can find! Wow, a set with more than one outfit sounds really fantastic. Hope I can find one tomorrow!

    Have a wonderful day!

I'm pleasantly surprised and happy to see that Amelia and her friends are on topic. I'm looking forward to receiving my Cute As A Button soon. FYI--Wilde Imagination has the remaining Convention exclusive Let It Sew set for sale on their website now! Happy shopping!

Hi guys. Anyone here know where to get a pattern that fits Amelia? I have some crochet ones, and would like something for knitting. I asked in the knitting page, too, but in case someone doesn't go in there I thought I would ask here. Thanks for any info you may have.

    Have a great weekend!

Goldie there are quite a few on Etsy for sewing and knitting. Just do a search for Petite Blythe, but double check that they are for Petite Blythe because some are listed wrong. Also on ebay there is a miniature knit pattern seller named "Lesley's Miniature Knitting" that has some patterns for 4-4 1/2 inch doll house dolls that will work. Lesleys also has fine yarn and tiny knitting needles. Best of luck, it is so much fun to dress this tiny girl.

raggedyandroid: What do you think of Hamish? I'd love to see a photo of him when you have time. There's one on the W.I. site but it's different from the ones I saw at the expo. )

Did I say I've ordered Izzy? Well I did and they didn't send her right away but I finally know she's in the UK but being held to ransome by Customs. Just waiting on their letter to know how much they want. Grrr...

I've made her a bedroom in a box while I'm waiting.

I've also bought her a sewing machine and other sewing goodies. And some beautiful lace for her own clothes as her name is Lace Lovelife. I hope she like everything. It started out as Lily Lovelace, which became Lacey and then I found her box which says Love Live Life, hence her now name. LOL

Love all the pics here. Fabulous!

Thank you all so much for loving Lacey's room. She's still being held to ransom and no letter yet, so I guess she won't be here until next week.

I was looking through this thread and found a link for the Petite Blythe patterns. I'm ordering those so I hope she'll have some clothes when she arrives. I do have a few PBs that I can use as models. Does anyone know if they are exactly the same as I don't want to make something too small. I could always leave the back seam a bit larger just in case and finish the fastenings once she's here.

I bet she's stamping her little feet in frustration, just like me. LOL

Valli: The sewing room is so cute! That's a darling rainbow rug. Did you knit it yourself? It is just perfect for Amelia. I love all the furniture and accessories you have for her sewing room: the bolts of cloth, the thread, the ironing board with the iron, the scissors and measuring tape, and all the stuff, WOW! You're really done it so well!

    Merci

Thanks merci. I've been collecting sewing items for years and finally have an excuse to set it all up. This isn't even everything. LOL The rug was a gift many years ago. I'm so glad I can finally get it out on display.

Valli, I love Lacey's room! As regards to Petite Blythe clothes, I've found some of the clothes I bought just slightly tight for Amelia around the body, so maybe make them just a tiny bit wider. Another thing I found is that some of the arm holes were a little small - Amelia must have bigger hands than them.

Thanks for that info Keri. I did wonder if that was the case as I have a few Petites and they look very tiny, especially their hands. I might wait until she arrives on Monday to make her something.

    Hi Valli,

I love your room sets! What a cute and practical idea to place them into those little cases! I got one of those suitcase shaped for Christmas a few years ago filled with bath goodies, and have doll accessories stored in it now, but hadn't thought of converting it to a tiny's room until now. Congrats on your incoming Izzy, I hope she's delivered to you soon.

Meanwhile, I received my Cute As A Button, and I like her a lot. Her face is pretty shiny and looks as if it could a coat of sealer. I was thinking of using Volks ZM Finishing Powder Spray. Has anyone used this on their Amelia, or one of her tiny pals?
